Freebies... killed... Economy
by Sunil Kumar on Jun 05, 2009 08:20 PM

I think it is the obsession of the Americans to pull down the companies by offerring alternatives in the form of freebies has done with the economy. For example, many sites crop up giving free downloads of music and video, which in fact kills the original manufacturer. They do not understand that if not them some of the people are supported by the amount the music company gets from sales, which in turn leads to purchases by these people of some other goods and this cycle goes on...on..

I hear our telecom minisiter wants to bring local calls to 10 paise and STD calls to 20 paise..... Is anyone crying over the cost of telephone calls in our country???? This foolish decision will certainly kill many a companies and in turn lead to large scale unemployment.

I think the government has to look into such areas where the consumer can afford without any pain things that are essential and brining the prices will only bring down the economoy.

"Every recovery of recession is the beginning of the next recession with a time delay just like a sinusoid. The delay is proportional to credibility of the investors. The Frequency of recession has remained constant but the Amplitude is the issue: Overshoots will lead to depressions while undershoots will lead to defalcations".

We are always victims of recession because money has a brain of its own and will soon poison investors ones it gains momentum. So people! harvest the rain water, spend it and make sure you don't flood your house.

the present economic system in the us has failed .everyone knows the reason for it.a new system has to be set in place with the same ideology and regulated more strictly so speculation does notgo out of control and greed.
