Discuss with rural India
by abboral boral on Jun 02, 2009 04:19 PM  | Hide replies

I request Pranab babu to have a discussions with rural India people breaking the ageold rule of discussing with so called Industry captains and make a budget for India .India is not the so called Industry captains nor they are India .India lies in 70 % rural populations ,underdeveloped ,malnourished,no roads,no electricity ,no education, health last 60 years
So it will be better if he takes a direct talks with all the district administrators/panchayats in India by vedio conferencing (send different teams with reporter, camera, economic expert to all the villages in India and know the plight of rural India directly instead of getting report from beurocrates,Industry captains ).It is then only he can make a good budget otherwise he will make tall promise but nothing will happen for rural India .

INVESTMENT LED BUDGET
by v vv on Jun 02, 2009 10:19 AM

The Government should accept the suggestions of the Industrialists. At the same time, they should attach some conditions to these Industrialists in the form of opening up some schools (reasonably priced - monthly fees should not exceed Rs.500/- for a good standard school), good hospitals (as in the Puttaparthy Sathya Sai Hospital), etc.etc. which should serve common man's interest. Many people are struggling to get admissions in good schools for their children, and are forced to pay high amount as donations etc. In order to improve the future generations, we need more number of good schools. Let us request Ratanji to come out with NANO SCHOOLs, and we are even willing to give a BOND to provide our children will work within INDIA even after their coming out with flying colours. My son is in need of admission for 9th standard either at DAV Gopalapuram or Sankara School at Chennai, and I could not even get an entry to meet the Principal, in spite of his excellent results in Grade VIII, with more than 95% and proved to be ALL ROUNDER in his school.

There must be an open seminar with few common people representatives I am realy concerned about the old age peoples who must get solid supports from the governmental ends especially for getting proper medical treatments, unlimited fixed deposits monthly income schemes in Postal department, increase interest rates in Postal long term fixed deposit investment, old people must get free rations those who are living in BPL with old age pension schemes then it will be more than enough I hope there will be significant improvements in general public living conditions rural India need lot of looked after positive schemes of health and welfare facilitate programmes.

Income tax and investment in Infrastructure
by Guest on Jun 02, 2009 09:21 AM

Government hould ensure there is no corruption in Income tax department and Infrastructure investment are done without any corruption and commission. Moreover infrastructure should have state of art design and equipments. Most of government engineers need training to ensure international standard infrastrucure. Very small countries like Sngapore, Malaysia, Maldives and Mauritius have far better infrastructure than India.
