It's a sign of failed governance
by crazedcat on Aug 02, 2009 04:57 PM

There's something wrong about a private organization having to buy armed security from the government. It shows the central and state governments are not providing the necessary amount of entry denial at our borders. With these 100 guards in Infy campus, around 10000 Infosys employees will be protected; if they're deployed in strength at the Indo-Nepal border, 1 billion Indians will be protected. So many problems today - terror, drugs, fake currency, arms - are seeping in through this porous border. Long border, terrain, etc are just handy excuses for a lazy diffident government.

By this arrangement atleast our poor underpaid jawans can make some money. In fact they are the ones that deserve those 6 digit salaries that many of those infosys' engineers dont deserve

by bihari babu on Aug 01, 2009 11:56 PM

Terrorist are actually targeting the futur of india. They know if our top business leaders are kept under life threat that will stop india's growth. That means not many jobs or income creation for indians. They want to make india weak. WE should never let this happen. Only police cant fight against terrorist. We all should stay alert and do whatever little we can do control these monsters.

Wow, so much for the security in India. After 65 years of rule or misrule by congress, this is the situation in India.

Govt cannot even guarantee safety of citizens.

MIND YOUR BUSINESS. First learn how to spell your bloody religion. Your spelling is wrong everywhere!
You people are all brainless and you do not have the brains to create a company like Infosys. So I am sure you are jealous of it and about our country's progress. Poor fellows, cannot help it. So you bloody idiot, sit at home and MIND YOUR BUSINESS and please go to school and learn your bloody spelling. I mean if you have any schools in your bloody country!!!!!!!

why drumming up security
by Devdutt Nayak on Aug 01, 2009 10:04 PM  | Hide replies

when you can prevent crime by feeding and educating the source?

why sleep till now?

Karma and shit like that are an eternal pastime of the Gods.

Does it *have* to come to a bloodbath every 50 years?

what kind of system is this?

Why does nobody remember that prevention is better than cure?

Is it only better in middle school textbooks?
