Kuch bhi kar lo lekin log ghar nahi kharidenge
by sashwat on Jul 29, 2009 11:33 AM

Kuch bhi karlo lekin ab log house kharid ke Banker's , Builders's ke jaal me nahi phasana chahate hain, kyon ki even Agrrement ke clause bhi builder ke faouvr me hain..govt. nw universal agrrement fromat nikalana chihe..
Jab tak Govt HDFC, ICICI, Bank's ko Interest rate 7-8% for all customers existing ,new kam karne ko bolti nahi tab tak log kuch action nahi lenge. Aur builder logo bhi proprty ki kimate 40% kam karne chahihe aur profit only two times kamana chahihe theey are gainig profit 4-5 times, reality me unonhe kimate kam kiya hi nahi.....

Sawal 10 lakh ka
by g kal on Jul 29, 2009 10:53 AM

If you have a 20 lakh property, bank will give 80-85% loan i.e. 16Lakh. Maybe subsidy will be for 10 lakh part of 16 lakh.
It is an irony that 'Buying a home may become more expensive' is also on same page in 'Also read'

Throw out the slum dwellers and their patrons, our politicians.
by Aditya Venkat on Jul 29, 2009 10:47 AM

how fair is it that one can encroach prime land in every city, break all rules, spread poverty and corruption and filth, and also have the politicians eating out of your hands because now you are a vote bank, and then claim redevelopment in the same prime land, when there are thousands of id io ts who bother to educate themselves, get decent jobs and pay taxes regularly only to realise that their 'middle income housing schemes' are located far far away from the city just because they did not bother to encroach on prime land inside the cities and decided to do something positive about their lives. Who is to blame here, our filthy lowlife politicians or the 'so called poor people' who have become a burden to our country. No one will dare debate this, because this should bring out some pertinant answers to our housing problems.

Don't trust realty brokers
by Guest on Jul 29, 2009 10:45 AM  | Hide replies

As my rental agreement was coming to an end in May, I had planned to move into a more affordable place in my vicinity. So I zeroed in on couple of places where rental amount was 3000 less than what I was paying. I spoke to them in the last week of April and pretty much finalized a place. I was to sign on the contract and move in shortly. When I spoke to the broker just few days later that month (I think after the election results), he said the land lord now demanding 2000 more.

To this I protested because, we pretty much concluded the deal and he is going back on it. Broker's argument is that the rates have increased in a week's time (as the market shot up post elections). And he claimed that there is a huge demand for that flat and there are lot of people who are ready to pay even 3000 more than what I can. I was shell shocked because I had told my current land lord that am vacating by end of that month. This broker for the new place was not ready to budge an inch. So I was desperate. Luckily for me, a friend came handy as he suggested a place in the neighborhood for much better rate. So I moved into the new place for half the rent I was paying earlier (and bigger place).

Yesterday, I receieved a call from this broker (who cheated me) saying the land lord is willing to give the apartment at the same rent as I agreed upon earlier. So I asked him what happened to all the demand that lot of ppl asking for the flat. almost 2 months and no takers yet. No response.
