Interest on govt. borrowing is quite low, in our country, where except govt. servants, common man does not have pension, he depends on interest only, which is quite low now a days, it must be enhenced, on the other hand, govt. should not permit to increase interest on loans, it should be receovered from efficient working of banks and financial institution. The gap in between interest paid and interest on loan is very high, comparing to advanced countries.
