They failed to predict US downfall. They failed to predict Indian stocks. There is no much difference bettween the touts selling black tickets and poker in betting. They only talk. Holes of asses. And about IPL it is a making all the Indian youth lazy and indolent. It costs indian government billions of rupess. IPL is a spoil sport it is lazy men game. Qucik buck making. Do any of the crickets have the stamina like that of Williams sisters who run for 6 hours continuoulsy????. Lazy cricketer worth a single penny. God save other games.
No one is crediting ICL for the success or idea of IPL. I know players are scared to talk about it but what happened to freedom of speech or media. Modi is nothing without BCCI's backing which the ICL did n't enjoy.
"more entertainment than cricket complete with cheer girls, dugouts and on-field interviews." - these things do not happen in EPL.
EPL is always about football first. There are no cheers girls and no on-field interviews. Also, no film star sponsors. There are millionaire businessmen as sponsors in EPL, however they do not attract so much of media spotlight at these Bollywood stars do at IPL. Some of the EPL teams are nearly a 100 years old !
This hype worked well when india won T20 in 2007. Now pakistan, srilanka, south africa, west indies will be winning from next world cups and the charm of IPL will fade away. Instead of IPL, BCCI can introduce this format in Ranji trophies and identify potential players and nurture them for t20 world cups

yes, i do agree with u. BCCI should now concentrating on bringing up new talents and this will not happen immediately so this format of the game will definitely help them. Where is manish pandey he shuld have selected for T20 World cup that could have made some difference.
