CISF-govt to bring transparency
by buddhanathan t on Sep 01, 2009 02:18 PM

On July 11th, 2009 I had travelled by go-air flight along with my group from Mumbai- Delhi by 0600 hrs flight. In my group, a lady passenger was checked at the last security check counter by a lady security guard, who found a swiss knife in her purse. The same was not allowed in the flight which was retained by the women guard. The said is supposed to hand over the same to Airport Manager through register maintained by CISF (just for name sake register is maintained). The swiss knife was not handed over to the Airport Manager thru register. Similarly, I had left my jacket at the last seurity check, x ray machine. This was also not handed over to Airport Manager thru register. All costly items forgotten or confiscated at the airports are taken away by the CISF staff. Similar crimes by CISF staff are found in many national installations manned by CISF, which is very serious. Can Home minister bring transparency in the system.
