A NEED TO MAKE FLEXIBLE IN TAX REFORMS
by RAJIB on Jul 08, 2009 11:21 AM

FBT,CTT,STT HAVE BEEN ABOLISHED IN THE CURRENT BUDGET, THIS POLICY WLII HAVE TO INSIST ON INCREASING FLOW OF CASH RESOURCES IN THE MARKET WHERE FOR IN A RESULT THERE WLII BE A CHANCE OF INCREASING AN INFLATION RATE ONCE AGAIN,BECAUSE ECONOMICALY DEVEALOPED PEOPLE WILL BE PROMPTED TO DEMAND IN DOMESTIC MARKET EXCESSIVE THAN NORMAL GDP. SO FLOW OF CASH RESOURCES GOING UP IRRATIONALY IN DOMESTIC MARKET, IN A RESULT VALUE OF RUPEE WILL BE LOWER IN INTERNATIONAL MARKET, SO LOCAL, NATIONAL,INTERNATIONAL MARKETS CAN NOT EXIT IN THE SAME LINE, THERE WILL BE INCREASE IN GAPING IN BETWEEN THEM THAT WILL BE SHOWING A LOWER PRODUCTIVITY. SO TAX REFORMS MUST BE FLEXIBLE IN KEEPING ABREAST WITH THE LATEST CONDITION IN THE MARKET

BUDGET-2009
by Shharad Gotecha on Jul 07, 2009 12:13 PM  | Hide replies

The FM has tried to presented a Budget out of political compulsion. Itis true that every one cannot be satisfied but some one must. Here the government is satisfied. The fiscal defecit estimated to be 6.8% is not a conccern for more but in fact this figure is distorted. What the previous planning had been and what the economic surrvey said - all have been kept aside to be opened up within Next Six Months. the defecit figure will go upto 13% and every one will see it. Now, Who will be blamed you know ?? It will be GLOBAL RECESSION, GLOBAL SLOW DOWN. The GOvernment will come with comprative figures of GHANA, SRILANKA, PAKISTAN, KENYA,and so on.

I also agree that it is not only the Tax proposal which keeps every one happy.

The Budget says a lot of money is being pumped in to Rural Development, Constuction of NAtonal Highways etc and thus domestic demand for steel, sand and cement will grow and thus employment will increase. Are you fooling Mr. FM. Give us some thing which suits appetite.

FM has not taken any step to curb govt. expenditure, no effort to reduce the salaries and perqs. of its servants, expenditure on politicians and cost reduction measures. He is to be punished for such loot by way of huge deficit financing.

Thats irrelevant issue.

In fact, we need a bigger Government machinery. USA has much bigger machinery compared to India in terms of its population ratio.
