These 3 states are step children of mother india. They will never get enough trains. It seems that railway is for UP, bihar, Bengal or Maharashatra and now adays for AP.
Indian govt. should allow private players in these 3 states. We are bored from every year drama about this rail budget. We have dream to get ticket to delhi or Mumbai genuinely.
The cleanliness of stations in our country depends on Zonal Railways and states in which they are situated. In terms of cleanliness and other civic amenities while SCR,SWR,Southern Railways are the best - worst being SER,ECOR,ER etc. we do not expect any sea change in the above worst railway zones next 50 years.
Mumbai gave 6 MPS to UPA but nothiing special for Mumbai Local trains..Mumbaikar's struggle will continue...2014 election please give 6 COngress MP so our struggle will continue....
When will the basic sanitary conditions of trains and railway stations improve? A passenger breaths shit smell and urine smell all through the journey and only gets sick at destination while alighting. No point in running A/C super-fast trains, if the basic cleanliness is not maintained. Vending machines will be of no use to passengers as they will be looted by public, it’s not a kind of thing India is fit for. Else, you need to post a security at every vending m/c just as we have one for every ATM machine today. Its aam aadmi in India who pulls the plug on every development or advancement lacking civic sense completely. Its difficult to change these people and what India needs today is a freedom from all these illiterates who bring down the country's growth, not politicians.
Till previous few years it were Bihari in all the railway jobs and now it would be Bengalis. Don't cry, wait for another 5 years and you may also get chance.
