PATENTING CREATED BY BRITISH AND U.S TO COLLECTING INDIRECT TAX AND ROYALTY SHOULD BE ABOLISHED BY ALL INDIANS AND COUNTRIES,
WHY IS OUR GOVERNMENT TOOTHLESS ON SUCH ISSUES??WHICH AFFECT OUR FARMERS AND GROWERS ?? WHERE IS KAMAL NATH JI ?? THESE ROYALTIES ARE PERMANENT AND AFFECTS THE EXPORTERS TERRIBLY ON PERISHABLE GOODS. BASMATI AND TURMERIC WAS A REALITY WHEN OUR GOVERNMENT WAS WEAK.
THIS TIME AROUND OUR GOVERNMENT SHOULD NOT GET CARRIED BY THE AMERICAN SWEET TALKS AND SENDING OF EMMISARIES WHO ARE CLOSE TO OUR GOVERNMENT WITH THIER HIDDEN AGENDAS.
INDIA HAS ALWAYS BEEN DUMPED AFTER SIGNING OFF EVERY DEAL.AND LUCKY PAKIS HAVE BENEFITTED FROM AMERICANS THE MOST.

what $22 per pack? I have been paying $35 per pack and that comes out to $10 per kg i.e. Rs. 480 per kg. Rediff you should write an article every year about the prices of indian mangoes or any novelty items so general public doesn't get ripped off by our countryman in U.S.

mr munna if u r expecting for $ 1 per kg u can get that too .three mangoes covered and wrapped with leaves and packing paper weighing one kg.
do u know the frieght rates, taxes an exporter pays for that cheap mango to reach u in u,s?/ and mind u its a perishable good and the various certificates like the radiation free one ??our indians never change, same miserly attitude, calling our fellow indians looters ,price comparisons made with what i get in my village??mr munna now that u r in the u.s, u should help another ten indians from ur city or village to reach americano so that every time they come back to u.s u can get free mangoes from ur village with no cost to u at all.. why pay $ 1 per kg when u can get totally free ?/ think over munna bhai.

In Mumbai 1 dozen of Alphanso cost more than Rs.300. Same mango on reaching dubai cost Dhs.10 (Rs.120) for Dozen. Can any one explain the logic.

it is never 10 dhs a dozen, but yes 10 dhs a kg in dubai, so it is more or less same if u calculate for a dozen. Moreover Alphanso is mostly exported, so you guys dont get much supply in local market, thats why it is expensive compared to other variety of mangoes.
