by rajeev on Jul 03, 2009 08:27 AM

Reliance group is great threats to our economy, This group is fishing public money and Indian resources by sharing pie with a few political and media boss.

If you will analyse the business activities of this group you will find that only pomp and show to lure public and public money. This group is another SATYAM GROUP, Beware of this.

Now we should to think about this and stand to create awareness among public.

PK M is protectionist,defensive FM
by abboral boral on Jul 02, 2009 09:12 PM

We cannot espect a bold budget once Dr MMS gave us in 1991 which propelled India to a envied position as of now as an economic superpower from a person like Pranav Mukherjee who lives in old values like protectionism politics except favouring some big business house .We need a bold reformist budget now or never as this will further push our economic supeiority in the world .We are already sensing for favouring big business house like RIL ,RNRL by increasing oil prices as we all know that RIL already started producing oil and gas in KG basin so that they can sell their products in more price as international oil prices are increasing .

THE ECONOMIC SURVEY 2008-09 by Satyaradhana
by Guest on Jul 02, 2009 07:40 PM

How can this survey help the poor as there is no talk about employment generation. It seems a mean to rectify UPA's immature thinking about FBT,CTT, STT etc.FROM last 62years main force is on policy making & not implementing & for this congress should accept the responsibilities as congress has seen majority of years being the ruler govt.overall the survey is an example of "SARKARI TYPE KA KAAM"

If implemented what is contained in the survey, there would be more foreign citizens participation and also some of the gaint corporates get benefits as they already had in the previous five years of UPA rule. Despite increase in the growth rate, what happened to employment generation?

Cess, Fringe Benifit, Transaction tax and all these are by the man called CHIDAMBARAM...

He is a lawyer by proffession and his most intrerest is to litigate, so his faternity is benifited rather than the Progress of India.

He is India's number one Fake Finance Minister. He know only to talk, but is an useless charecter.

The credit of policy must go to Mr.Manmohan SIngh as FM, Narasimharoa as PM, and The BJP Era...

very good
by surajit som on Jul 02, 2009 05:08 PM

extremely sensible. if implemented completely, 8% rate of growth is guaranteed. but the points are interlinked .so the implmentation has to be total. it is like a medicine package.disinvestment will reduce deficit(hence inflation) ,create wealth ,will generate more tax etc.without 8-10% growth, poverty cannot be reduced.massive investment in infrastructure(like power) is requuired for sustainable growth.

Sanitation
by Prem Mohan on Jul 02, 2009 04:20 PM  | Hide replies

The economic survey makes no mention of the problem of sanitation. Despite being independent for 62 years, Indians prefer to defecate and urinate in the open air. Perhaps they are convinced that this is part of their cultural heritage.

If we solve the problem of sanitation, the national health will improve and the money saved can be used to promote the public sector.

Probably sanitation will make as much or more difference to Indian life in comparison to providing Bijli, Sadak and Makhan to Aam Aadmi. Cleanliness will automatically bring in the cultural improvement necessary, which is the real thing we lack. Hope this point will find its place in our agenda
