Reading a book?
by ringview on Jan 28, 2009 06:39 PM

Interesting to note how the observance of history,
has been turned around into a deliberation of the present
political classes... If facts are stated as they are,
than it is quoted as propaganda for a certain national party.
While people do have the right to voice their views,
most of the ones in this forum is effectually, unconnected,
to the written matter in the article, which basically follows
India's rise from just a country, to an information powerhouse.
And yet political melodrama as usual, have to be brought up
by some people for their own personal satisfaction of voicing,
discontent towards the babu class.. People sometimes
why cant we just read things as they are?? The article
is good the book traces facts of an industry. Why call
it a propaganda machine when everything is verifiable?

Yes... thats inevitable...! Who else would otherwise support the monopoly license-raaj of the so-called Indian businessmen like nandans and mittals and ambanis, other than those corrupt congress politicians, who have had a sentiment like they are just misappropriating public funds and not doing anything worse than that, so the people of this country should be happy! Nandan very well knows that he cant really get a great clinet feedback for all those paltry work his company does... so he is more keen on doing propaganda business, like inviting tom friedman to his campus and showing him the board room and serving him the free lunch and there by getting a place in the NYT corner columns or writing some stale stories on the achievements of congress, with the tone of a post-modernist, and there by getting the much coveted blessings of Mrs. Gandhi, some saviors and some strategy guys! This is indeed the blue ocean strategy at its best, the ocean that always remains blue on blessings...

looks more like a pro cong- anti BJP propoganda just ahead of the LS polls..if only Mr. Nilekani had dedicated this time building client relations over the past year there would have been more projects with Infosys.
we can always refer to wiki for facts regarding computers in India

I completely agree Mr raja .. I wonder how many trees would have been saved if he had not written that book ...Can you imagine Jack Welch writing books advising Americans on governance? I had regards for Mr Nandan - but he seems to be just like his mentor - that bodyshopper Murthy -- forgot that guy's first name... bloody bodyshoppers acting like they are Steve Jobs or Larry Ellison
