This is a fantastic initiative and we should not let it die a natural death.
CATS obviously has a vested interest in seeing the 'competition' vanish. It is ridiculous to talk about 'transperancy' in contracts for an essential service that actually works. We all know about transperancy in government run health centers and their state, with the exception of half a dozen leading organizations like AIIMS in Delhi, only the poorest of the poor go to a govt. hospital for even the most minor care.
Probably a section of people do not like the idea of ordinary people getting real time medical help merely by dialling a three digit number and would like to see EMRI wound up.
In fact other leading industrialists should get together to support this initiative.

You are right Sandeep. We all know Raju has been made a Scapegoat by current Govt and its leaders. Media is being paid heavily to defame him. Why did not a simple employee talk when they were paid their salaries meticulously whether they worked properly or not and now everyone is barking. India will be more corrupted in coming days and the politicians will sell India completlely.

I hate to say this about Business Standard, which is usually good, but is this article really unbiased. Is there an angle that is being missed.
Is this Business Standard's attempt to catch up with the journalistic standards of the TOI group?
