dont wait - action immediately before evidence is wiped out
by readers view on Jan 10, 2009 12:44 AM

they should quickly and immediately check all those involved
by readers view on Jan 10, 2009 12:41 AM Permalink | Hide replies

they should not wait and immediately they should also check the auditors concern and high officials concern, these two people, main person and his brother should be kept away from anyone trying to pass or extract information from them and they will try to wipe out all evidences then. cm pm and bse nse officials together should be strict with this if not then they also are involved in this scam, it may be the CM or PM or FM or even BSE NSE officials all should support quick investigating..... all investors should be after this. readers put your view on these things now and not just jabber nonsence. those involved should be publicly punished in shame, only then others who are into this will inprove or correct themself. your view now??

what's next? a conclave with Raju?
by Badri on Jan 09, 2009 10:44 PM

I'm shocked that Raju is still not arrested and produced before SEBI but will be meeting them and that too at the Satyam office.

But what else can we expect from the people who are soft even on terrorism?

Only God can save us!!

IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE PROFITS SHOWN WERE
by save india on Jan 09, 2009 10:42 PM

CORRECT ON SATYAM BOOKS AS THE AUDITORS WOULD HAVE FOUND THAT EARLIER, ASSUME THE AUDITOR ARE NOT A PARTY TO CRIME. SO IN THIS CASE RAJU TRANSFERRED ALL MONEY TO SOMEWHERE AND NOW CLAIMING NO MONEY AND BLAMING THE OVERSTATES PROFITS.

Co-conspirator
by New York on Jan 09, 2009 10:39 PM  | Hide replies

1. Rs 7000 crores is missing from Satyam
2. CEO Ramalinga Raju has admitted that he committed fraud

And yet Satyam interim CEO Ram Mynampati has not filed any police case against either Ramalinga Raju or Satyam Auditors.

Mr Ram Mynampati seems to be a co-conspirator to this fraud.

IF YOU SEE THERE NO BIG POLITICAL NOISE TO PUNISH RAJU
by save india on Jan 09, 2009 10:26 PM

or slam his wrongdoings. There are rumours that he has big circle among politician across partylines whom he had nurtured duing his earlier days. Anyone who induldge in such activities does make sure that there are enough friends to support when things go wrong. I wont be surprised if he is arrested than released on bail and than the case enters an endless journet of years and years and Raju enjoys a quite, retired life enjoying money that he looted from others.

reddy,
Tell your fiance that she has no other choice!
What happened with satyam, can happen to any company in India!
If she is going to change her mind because you are in dire straits now, what would have she done if this had happened after you two were married?!
Show her who wears that pants in the family!!

Sreedhar..
THese are tough times. As some one else has pointed out, it could happen to everyone.

If your fiance is interested in you, ask her to wait till things are better, i.e. till Satyam stabilises (if it shows signs), or till you get into another stable job.

If she had decided to marry you, she is entitled to enjoy the good times with you, and also the sorrow you bear. The sad thing is that, when you guys should be enjoying life, you are facing a big survival issue.

Such things happen and pass in life.

If she is genuine she will wait for you and extend all her help that she can give for you.

Else, if your marriage is just a business contract of dowry, and no heart and soul involved, I strongly advise you to drop the matter, return her dowry, and wait for better times!

Regards,
Kalpana

IF YOU ARE QUALIFIED AND GOT JOB BASED ON MERIT, YOU WILL DEFINETLY find MANY OTHER OPORTUNITIES if you start to look out for those. If you got job through other means that you may be in trouble. But i beleive Satyam will be revived one way or other soon. Its a big company with big client base and operation in several countries. Anyone would by that ready set up at a fraction of its true price. It takes years to set up those systems, practices, offices contacts.

Satyam Fiasco
by sanjay rajwade on Jan 09, 2009 10:09 PM  | Hide replies

Raju is a fugituve & scamster. These are the guys who are actually incapable but just because of Affluent family background entered the business spectrum, Else I am doubtful if anybody would have employed him ,forget about heading the company. I have seen him speaking on different occasions & he barely had any communication skills. I always was surprised How he manages this behemoth. ICAI needs to look into audit procedures PWC adopted? What happened to TOM TOMMED Peer Review. These Professionals are too opportunistic. They follow the " I scratch yours, you scratch mine" Policy
