What about the costs of the advt your govt is running for several minutes on all channels, DD-1, DD-India and news papers? When NDA was in power, your party and Soniaji made lot of hue and cry about public money being wasted on advertisement. May we know now, whose money you are wasting now in "Bharat Nirmaan " ads? And are these money accounted for in the present budget?

If it is look out of CAG then why opposition parties made hue and cry back in 2004? After launching RTI I may not get answer till elections are finished and my money will again be used for advertisements.

real focus on aam aadmi
by anurag on Feb 16, 2009 05:00 PM  | Hide replies

* This government( esp Chidumbarum ) is finding innovative taxes to screw aam aadmi.
* This government is really keeping "ALL OPTIONS OPEN" for terrorists so that they can come and kill AAM AADMI at there will and ease.
* This government is is really working hard to make sure that next time they don;t see any aam aadmi on the road, all aam aadmi will vaporise soon or later with wither terrorists killing them or economic conditions killiing them.

WE NEED A REGULATOR FOR THE REALITY SECTOR JUST LIKE TELECOM..
by P Srinivasan on Feb 16, 2009 04:51 PM  | Hide replies

TRAI HAS DONE WONDERS FOR THE TELECOM SECTOR ..INDIAN TELECOM PRICES ARE THE CHEAPEST IN THE WORLD AND Y/Y GROWTH OVER 40%.

WE NEED STRICT GUIDELINES ON WHAT PRICES THE FLATS CAN BE SOLD DEPENDING ON THE COST OF LAND AND COST OF CONSTRUCTIONS ..

GOVT NEEDS TO TAKE PRO-ACTIVE STEPS TO MAKE AVAILABLE CHEAP LAND TO BUILDERS AND DEVELOPERS FOR LOW COST HOUSING

ANY LANDBANK NOT UTILISED BY THESE BUILDERS SHOULD BE CONFISCATED AND USED FOR LOW COST HOUSING ,

REALITY IS OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE TO THE INDIAN ECONOMY AND SHOUD NOT BE LEFT TO THE MERCY OF
A CARTEL OF GREEDY DEVELOPERS , WHO INSIST ON MAKING 50-60% PROFITS .

by Bobby on Feb 16, 2009 04:44 PM  | Hide replies

Friends, what did we see in thiese 5 years :

hundreds of people evrywhere committing suicides due to loss in share market and property markets AND UNEMPLOYMENT !!
lakhs of people loosing jobs in so called slump/slowdown/recession etc.
rich getting richer, poor getting poorer
beer bars being closed which were not that bad a social stigma as bad as escort services, massage centres and friend clubs , where the same bargirls are now into flesh trade

Flat prices touching a record high, out of reach of common man, aam aadmi.
Sensex going from 10000 to 21000 to 8500 ?
Fights in the name of pub culture, north indians and west indians ??
Loss of liquidity, stock market crash, now property market crash etc abnormalcy, tumultous times, volatility ?? Not over yet ?
Add to it terrorism, fear of war, fear of a bomb below your seat everytime you move out of your house ?????????????
This is whay aam aadmi got in last 5 years.

Yes, do think before you vote. I would have voted for any party that would have done the same work this UPA government did. I have closely seen the functioning of Bharat Nirman and NREGA and believe me the sort of success that this government has achieved is phenomenal. Kudos to some excellent decisions made by the prime minister and the finance minister together with the planning commission. India has surely shown a high growth. These years under UPA is truly "India Shining".

It is good to be critical bobby but before writing comments like "hundreds of people evrywhere committing suicides due to loss in share market and property markets AND UNEMPLOYMENT !!
lakhs of people loosing jobs in so called slump/slowdown/recession etc.
rich getting richer, poor getting poorer", you must go through the facts and the figures.

Budgets are never for the aam aadmi
by vir singh on Feb 16, 2009 04:44 PM

The budgets are always a play of the big aadmi for big aadmi by the big aadmi. Aam aadmi is just tossed and trampled upon and recreated with. Our civil masters (don't call them civil servants) are enough to suck the blood of aam aadmi. Please don't make any more mockery of aam aadmi.

Facts about Railway surpluses
by Sathish N on Feb 16, 2009 04:40 PM

Lalus acts -
He conceals liabilities on provident fund, retirement benefits and pension when talking about the surplus.
Increases tatkal reservations percentage and amount thereby increasing the fare paid by common man. And all this without sanction of the parliament.
Classified many trains as super-fast thereby increasing the fare paid by aam-admi.
Increased freight tonnage in trains thereby increasing the security risk - higher rail and welding fractures, failure of electric locos, brake beam defects and increased en route detachment due to wagon body bulging, stalling and wheel burns, increased vulnerability of large number of bridges. Also accidents at unmanned level crossing has gone up during the period of Lalu.

All these aspect are masked by UPA and their friendly media.

we are taken for a ride once again in the name of kissan they have made us jam as well as tomato ketchup.
They realy do not know the definition of aam aadmi. They were born to abuse us.
They will open the institutions, sell the seats in the name of party chanda which aam aadmi is to bear,They eat your hard money in the name of direct or indirect taxes for these gundas & their family security.
Aam admi can not go & complaint in the police stations as you have to have the approach of these goons or their agents in the area which are most of the time their near & dears only.
Let us bring a change where the elected M.P. & M L A's are not hungry for
money & power but have the will to serve. Please start today towards the Goal.Enough is enough.
