Worst Managers in Satyam Computer should be kicked out by Tech_M
by IndianCorporate Corruption on Apr 24, 2009 01:33 AM

I hope that unprofessionalism by many managers (Due to which I was forced to leave)& RCC's in Satyam may now be reduced once Tech-M steps in.This exists in Many Businessunits of Satyam I have heard lots of complaints from guys there.
Fact1:Unprofessional,Inefficient Managers encouraging favouritism :Their are many cases that deserving employees are ignored.
* One Example when I was in Satyam BI Business Unit.Guys with matching skill sets at Delhi Location were sitting idle in bench and despite their requests Guys from other locations like Hyderabad and Chennai were brought on deputation (where salary is almost equal to USA/UK On site Rs 5000 per day plus salary),This is nothing but literally wastage of precious company money.
* In both the on-site and offshore project allocation also favored guys are given preference and guys having no good terms with top managers are not preferred and were not taken into the projects despite being the deserving candidate.
Fact 2 :Managers behaving like a dictator:
* Many managers who are working here since long time forget to work as a employee and start behaving like a dictator and create their own rules surpassing company policies for their benefit.
* For example I recall one manager K.R from Bangalore office, he was not letting one associate move to some other nonsouth location despite of the fact he was required there at new location, finally he let him go but wrote to finance Dept not to reimburse his relocation expense

* Similar case with one manager S.G from Bangalore office he was not letting one associate move to some other non south location despite of the fact he was required there at the new location

My personal experience :

* I along with 4 associates was released from the project despite our hard work, appreciations for our performance to accommodate one lady associate whose knowledge, contribution in the project was zero and neither she worked hard , but put in the project since she was having very good terms with the Top managers like VKD amd SR in BI Business unit.and they wanted her to make billable since she was on bench
* Their was other project where my skills were required but the RCC/HR made me to sit idle in my Business unit rather than letting me contribute to other Business unit for full 3 months before I and one more guy felt harassed and were forced to decide to resign.and Finally we left Satyam. and now feeling very relaxed after joining our present job.

Just wanted to correct you that Mr. Murthy is not God.The statements Infosys guys (Mr. Murthy, HR Head of infosys..)have given are irresponsible and malacious.
Take some lesson from TCS which is much older and bigger than Mr.Murthy's Infosys.

TCS has shown lot more maturity than their small brothers infosys.

Shiv Nadar and Sundaram group bosses are forming a consortium to bid for Satyam. Let them be successful.

Satyam, Shivam, Sundaram!
