Rather than coming back, they should invest in Education of poor people and start volunteer organizations for improving the basic needs like water, roads and power in India. which makes them to not leave their high-paid jobs and at the same time will have satisfaction of serving their own country.

In general, just coming back doesn't mean anything. One may just come back because one didn't get a good job or visa elsewhere. The question is, what do you do once you come back? There are people who return and slack-off claiming they are 'patriotic'. There are those who work elsewhere and remit funds to their country. So stop claiming that you are doing a great favour by just returning to your country.
I think,nothing is wrongly written,execpt the real truth,on which there is on need to strongly react like this but to calmly and seriously think on the situation.There is no doubt that India was,is and shall remain the Great country in the whole world.Every Indian is/must be proud of this.BUT present Indians in general have no reason to be so,due to fast deteriorating mentality on individual basis.India has developed in a big way in last 62 Years but whats about Indians' mentality?This is the BASIC question.It can't be beleived that the country where the great leaders(super humans)were born will deteriorate so much in terms of the mentality. There are no leaders in the country,only the politicians.Leaders first quality is 'no attachment with money and chair'.Need of the hour is 'great revolution to change the mind set' for which a Leader is needed and every individual MUST come forward in costructive way whatever he/she can do for him/herself and the our Great country INDIA,whether by remaining in India or out of India.

Why should people just vote for selfless leaders? I think they should become selfless leaders. I think there is a need to provide a platform where good people who have done good in their careers (teachers, doctors etc. etc.) can become our leaders. We dont need these career politicians.

The immediate need is don't give any importance to these so called politicians of today.They should be ignored.So much impottance make them feel different than the masses and provoke them to do wrong thing.Only good people of high moral values shoul be appreciated and highlighted in the society.This is the only way in the democratic setup of our country.
The rediff moderators must be the busiest persons on the planet with all the personal abuse they have to sift through. Looks like they cant keep up with the demand.
I thought he was going great guns at ABB and was destined to be its global head someday. But don't know what happened and he quit it to move to relatively unknown Harman.
Similarly, Muktesh Pant was also looking all set to become Reebok's global Head. He was CMO when he quit.
Also when Carly Fiorina quit HP there was talk of an Indian to Head it someday.
Indians should come back to india now. they must improve india. they must help india to grow. reservations are not for stagnation.reservations are for stagnated people who did labour for centuries in india and they did not able to study. after education nation will rise and not fall. jai hind

ohh...chalguru...u r back with your punch and kicks...what a disgrace you have been...you are the biggest looser on this earth who is so frustrated of not acheiving anything on your own that you just abuse people who have acheived something better with their hardwork and determination and also helps their home country by sending loads of money to the indian economy. Go and do some research about the kind of money being injected by NRI based all over the world. If people are doing good and earning crores in other countries, you should not abuse them instead try to get some inspiration from them and work hard. Remember i suggested you to read GITA...please take my advise seriously...it will help you to curb Jealously and the sense of inferiority complex.....chalguru hope you recover soon....BTW what kind of name is this "Chalguru"...ha ha haha

We will come back one day when we have earned enough money to set up some enterprise which could generate more employments, when we will have no fear of our setup being looted by goondas ( i mean when india gets a better law and order situation), when there is more opportunity for people, when people get promoted for their merit not because of his links and contacts....and when we have a better education system comparable to UK and US.....so that we don't have dumb people like chalguru....we will definitely come back because we all miss our country, our city, our streets.....

It is only in the US that a person can reach top position in any company based on his merit. In India, all meritorious people find themselves stagnated under the stone age rules of reservations of all kinds, buttressed gen- erously by compulsions of vote bank politics, bureaucracy and corruption. That is why most ambitious people migrate to the US and else- where to fetch recognition for their abilities.

I think you should go back to school and educate yourself so that you could be put to some productive use. Understood or not? I take pride in working for fortune 50 company because it supports me and my family and the investments i have made in my home country which have generated loads of employment back home. I am definitely proud of what i have acheived unlike you who is just a lump with no manners and sense of language.....Mr. Loknath Rao, i really appreciate the figures you provided but we can't be sure of these facts. Also, i agree with the point you made that the money sent by NRIs is a huge bonus to indian economy. UK alone contributes to $20billion every year being sent to India by BRIs based in UK. I am not counting other countries including USA. This is a vast sum of money which is helping indian economy at the end of the day in a big way. ohhh i forgot......Chalguru is not educated enough to understand how much 20 billion US dollar is.....sorry chalguru.......
