I feel pity on people who think separation is going to bring Prosperity, rather adding up some more politicians who can loot public money.
I strongly believe people behind the split are spending a huge money and time to create this instability. I would have been more than happy if they could spend some time for improving present Andhra Pradesh as whole.

Telangana not required
by kishore on Dec 11, 2009 10:04 PM

Im totally against the concept of Telangana. The logic is simple. KCR cannot manage the whole of AP, so its better to divide the state and rule. The money that hyderabad generates is huge enough for any one to be selfish. If telangana comes to light then we will have many other instances where people will ask for separate state. There might be options where the other states are instgating the break up of AP to reduce the importance of AP in southern India. But on the whole...there is a loss to the complete state. Congress should not bend to such pressures where a person seems to be fasting to death by having fluids injected in his body. I would not consider this as fasting. He could not gather the masses so the easiest target to get the masses was universities. The sad part is students are being misguided for such activities. Here the colleges and schools are closed since long, students are suffering on educational grounds, businesses and other services are also having a set back, the losses are estimated to be around 300 cr, would KCR or TRS pay for all this. KCR's motives are pretty clear, so let us not heed to this and have smaller states, but have one motto..."Sampoorna Andhra".

I need a state
by aman on Dec 11, 2009 11:55 AM

Divide and rule, thats the way the current politicians act. Every one wants to be a leader with the support of their caste people and the media supports this division for their survival, ultimately the common masses as a whole suffer, India is not a unified force, if something happens in one state other state people think and act as an outsider. Even our cities are polluted because of this, as no outsider thinks that its their own place to be clean and protected, theres no social unity and responsibility as a result people are afraid to approach politicians, police and govt officials for their welfare.

Why Telangana and not Andra Pradesh?
by subhash sukumaran on Dec 11, 2009 11:54 AM  | Hide replies

Whats wrong with the guys in Andhra? Don't they feel proud having developed the state unitedly, why can't they stay as one, why do they want to go in three different ways. They are setting up a bad example for the rest of India. See what happened when Bihar was Trifurcated - YOU CREATED A MADHU KODA (A BIG THEIF). Do you want to have such kind of a situation or see the state develop and flourish as one. I think Andra is what it is today because of former PM NARASHIMHA RAO and former CM Chandra Babu Naidu. Guys stay as ONE - ANDRA, and DO NOT SET A BAD EXAMPLE FOR THE REST OF INDIA. IF THE PRIME MINISTER MANMOHAN SHINGH SUPPORTS THIS IDEA, WHO WE ALL RESPECT WITH AWE - HE MUST MUST OPEN UP TO EVERY INDIAN WHATS THE BRIGHT IDEA OF SPLITTING OF SPLITTING UP A PROSPEROUS AND UNITED ANDRA. DOES HE WANT A MILLION STATES IN INDIA?

SUBHASH - KERALA.

what is wrong if 3 states are formed there are 50 and above states in US for a population of 30crores we are a nation of 100crores and above there should be 50 states atleast for better management there will be employment creation in all the states as focus will be to that region where it got split there can be more CM's homeministers and new offices in govt sector which finally creates more govt employment

3 piece andhra ...
by SAURABH SINGH on Dec 11, 2009 11:16 AM  | Hide replies

today there's so much hangama about different statehoods.

congi leaders should sit at onces & take complete decision make 3 pieces of AP & whcih all states need seperate states.

its (states) are like joint families , when they can stay together its good but once there is difference in opinion & views we should divide & let every body live happily.

same thing is happening regionally if people can't stay under oe state let them have there own region / state.

we shouldn't take more time as it will ruin prospectus of whole country.

make as much states as possible so that there shouldn't be any fights, damages & loss of lifes.

jai telangana, jai seema, jai andhra !!!!

Yes. Telangana demand doesn't even have concrete political backing. State gov should handle hooligans with iron fist rather then running to Madam.

All concerns are temporary

The formation of Telangana will have no effect on Hyderabad, which was, is and will be part of Telangana state. Being an IT professional, and worked in several MNCs in Hyderabad, I found that people from almost all the states in India are working in the IT companies in Hyderabad, so as they work in other cities like Delhi(NCR), Mumbai, Kolkata and Bengaluru etc.

The IT companies primarily need talent and in future also, all the companies in Hyderabad will go to all the states in India in search of talent(as it is done till now) and will continue to recruit people from all the states, and in fact, if required, they will recruit from other courntries also.

In my opinion, no state govt can not do any thing to stop the IT companies from recruiting from other states/countries. Maharashtra is an example in this case.
