Let sanity prevail. Let the scientific proof emerge. Nice to know few people are not just going by the hype.

its a good opposition
by Sanjeev Sen on Dec 08, 2009 08:04 PM

The guys who are challenging the theory that human beings alone are not responsible for global wraming is a good argument. If this argument is kept in mind the scientific community will look at problem in different ways and take a comprehensive action to correct the real problem. Walking on a treaded path is easiest, but may not solve the problem totally and really. This climate change meet should proceed, but other angles of warming should be looked at. We humans are not the only creatures on the earth.

Slave mentality at its best....!!! We Indians have the habit of looking outwards for every problem. No single person, however powerful or however honest can ever take us out of this mess. This is wishful thinking ! When an even more powerful personality like M.K Gandhi could not solve India's problems, wht do u think a foreigner with a Gandhi surname can do ?? Only one thing can take us out of this mess - we Indians ourselves. Till we start believing in ourselves, start asserting our rights, and stop depending on external help for our problems, we will always be a weak nation. Politicians are a convinient whipping boy for us, to hide from our own ugly realities. And let us not once again fool ourselves by thinking that some person on account of becoming the PM will solve our in-born weakness. And if all parties were to merge, then we can as well bid goodbye to democracy and declare dictatorship. Why dont we say...let all Indians merge and become one people, one nation ? Then we dont need any one persom with whom we can unload all our baggage of problems, and enjoy silently..!!

climate change - good for scientists who other won't get money!
by Anup Patel on Dec 08, 2009 07:33 PM

Lets take an example, a scientist researching farting of animals have difficultly getting funding for his work on farting ! now he add some spice to his title "Effects of animal farting in perspective of global warming" and will try to prove that farting is causing "dangerous" "Global Warming", now with this title and effects, no govt. body in the world would ever reject his proposal ! Moral of the story is, instead of handling some serious issues like water pollution this "climate crusaders" are trying to propagate their ideas for their own means.
