For a while there may be some stress on unskilled job market. But India has amazing nature to absorb everything. That's beauty of mother India. It absorbed tons of foreign invaders, asylum seekers, religion and what not.
But some people don't have gratitude in their blood to show toward mother India.

this is the problem... urban india is happy with there life and just have words of appreciation for rural india... while every week around 5 farmers have done suicide every week only in vidharba, i dont have whole india figures and still we are here to absorb and create HUGE GAP between poor and rich in india... time for urban india to come out of alice in wonderland world and understand some hard hitting facts...
Re: Re: Re: Dubai- Economics explained

It (Mother India) is still absorbing: 1. 2.5 million deaths per annum of malnourished children, 2. rapes of girls and women every 7 minutes, 3. demolishing of the Greatest Hindu culture, 4. struggling billion people who live with a paltry 1 dollar a day salary 5. One murder at least every 30 minutes 6. Farmer's suicides every day 7. 2 million Infanticide of female fetuses every year
and so on.
Lets try to accept the facts and then we can really build a strong India. If we shut our eyes towards these things and claim to be the greatest people on the earth, people will only laugh at us.

AIT is a myth and is disproved beyond doubt. Read David Frowley's and Linda Johnsen's findings.
Dubai and other middle east countries are the only rare countries which gives an option for unskilled and poor indians to work abroad and have a secured future campared to working in india...This is not even seen in so called US and Europe as they need only high skilled indians who can even work in india and earn good money in india.

India has a population of 1.1 Billion. EXACTLY what proportion have ever worked in the Middle East? Dubai's fading delusions of granduer are going to affect those who went there. But since it is such a trivial proportion of India's Labor Force, India will be unaffected.

Re: Re: Dubai

boss... work is done by the "foundation team" in any team.. the "so-called leadership team" just guides, that's it.. the.. even in corporates, without the foudnation team, there is nothing called leadership

Better you guide yourself rather than showin ur so called intelligence with no genuine sense... this is a basic thing which even a kid can say

@gaurav ur a non entity in this debate kindly refrain to give ur so called intelligent yet useless and foolish replies...
Dubai world is asking for 6 months extension for the payment tells the chilling story behind it. Why sudden crunch of cash liquidity? Well there is no money inflow. That tells us no demand in the market.
Dubai produces oil, garbage, pollution and corruption for entire world. It has nothing innovative to offer.
dubai debacle is pure case of failur of creating superficial extravagant expensive place...for whcich there no justification...god knows a small place less then size of a mumbai suburb can take all this...it cant match singapore-or hongkong
Re: its still not over...
by Lucky B on Dec 01, 2009 11:07 PM
Singapore and Hongkong doesn't depend on oil. They are dependent on innovation, global market hub, hardworking work force and citizen.

Those lazy arabs are much better than those so called GENEXT US and europe... these ppl employ unskilled and poor indians who in turn get a salary which help them to secure there future... singapore and hongkong will not even allow u inside there country if u dont that qualifications as per there requirement or else just go an burn YOUR MONEY to see that so called great hub
Re: Re: Re: its still not over...

I managed these three regions for 15 years. For construction work, and labor work you don't need educated masses. go to Sirngoon are in Singapore on Sunday and you will find tons of poor South Asian there.
Arabs treated non-Arabs badly. They live like slave. Poor People sell their services and they get money in return.
If there is no oil Arabs will back to Camel age. They have nothing to offer to the world.

Luckily even i have worked in Hongkong as well as in KSA.... In Tsim tsa Tsui station there is a small hotel where poor asians and africans stay..u will find lot of dhabas.. every where u will find cameras... many guards will be there to search ppl and getting a visa for labour job is a huge issue... once they get visa then they are also treated very badly... KSA gives a huge opportunity for indians ..yes they do mistreat indians but now it has reduced and limited to only pakistanis and bangladeshis as they realise that india is an equal partner
"it just wants a six-month window to restructure the entire debt package, during which it is requesting that its lenders hold off on demanding the interest payments due, which are less than $1 billion."
So, all the talk and write up and cannot pay up LESS THAN $1 BILLION and 6 months needed for that?
whatever the crisis may take shape let's not forgot the most reliable zero cost foreign remittances are from gulf so far. Air India's most profitable route is/was Gulf. So from that point it is defintely a blwo to India and India's interests. Looks like west want to take a swipe at Dubai ,while the perception of wealth creation is the same make money wherever it is possible ..what ever way it may be ,the GFC has displayed this again and again whether it was NewYork(wall street with Lehman Brothers,Banks collapse) ,London(Northern Rock) or even the current situation in Dubai (Real estate) if motivation factor is quick cash and the ways do not matter then it is not right to say it can happen anywhere anytime ?and the way is to change perception and stability perhaps rama mohana rao anne Sydney Australia
