Depleting OIL reserves
by hardy rock on Aug 18, 2009 02:55 PM  | Hide replies

wait for the day when there is no OIL. No oil for submarines, airforce jets, aircraft carriers, tanks, production of Arms & ammunition.
The battles between nations will go back to swords and horses.
Any idea who will be the superpowers of that day??

it isnot a perennial source
Like your deepwater wells which do run out dry until monsoon replenishes
if consumption is more than production or storage u dont know what will happen

lens of ideology
by Reality Bites on Aug 18, 2009 01:52 PM

The West has a worldview based on the analysis and actions influenced by looking through the lenses of politics and economics, whereas the Islamists look at the world through the lens of ideology. In the case of the Mussleems, their worldview and subsequent actions are shaped by their vision for world domination, the establishment of Issilamiq kingdom of God on Earth – the creation of worldwide Caliphate and the End Times.”
Religion will become obsolete, when humanity rejects the supernatural G-d of antiquity for the new dialectical deity, fathered by historical forces, leading its chosen to the land promised by Marx and Lenin.
This means that the world must be interpreted in terms of the class struggle and that the only choice is between capitalism and Marxism. Is not Issilam's call for Utopia very similar to the Marxist demand for a re-ordered universal human existence of radical egalitarianism so often lauded by the liberal establishment during the 60s and 70s? Just as Marxism bred terror worldwide to achieve its goals, Issilam seeks the same end through the same means. Just as political societies that fell prey to the song of the Marxist muses found terror and tyranny were soon to follow, so too the Iranians and Afghans found the fruits of Issilam to be something short of Heaven. The answer is Issilam, like Marxism, seeks the end of political man or nation-states.
At its core, both of its adherents believe that man's salvation is possible here and now.

WTO has done more good to China then western world
by Ramesh Dodani on Aug 18, 2009 01:25 PM

If western nations are in recession than partly or some way china & also they themselves are responsible for it

In name of cheap china goods their let their own factories close & labour loose job

They keep consuming spending rather then
saving -

Western world has to blame itself then china for it - China has taken full advantage of its cheap & organised labour

WTO has favoured China more than USA or Europe

It's another form of opium trade!!
by Chakravarthy Muralidhar on Aug 18, 2009 01:15 PM

This dispute definitely reminds us of the opium war! During the late 19th and early 20th century, the British fought the Chinese rulers for not allowing them to sell opium to the Chinese public. The Chinese rulers were unnerved by seeing their own citizens getting addicted to cheap opium sold by the British traders and were worried that their nation would get enslaved to foreigners by this obnoxious trade. But the vily Britishers claimed it as their right to sell the narcotic stuff and would not listen to any reason. They even went to war against a defenceless nation to impose their dirty trade on the Chinese. Of course, when the Colombians and the Afghans started peddling similar narcotics to the west later aided by the increasing affluence of western nations coupled with their cultural liberalism, the British and the Yankees got together to create the UN sponsored anti-narcotics bureau and declared trading in psychotropic substances as illegal. However, they do not consider exporting mass audio and visual media products promoting promiscuity, egoistic, elfish and immoral behaviour as illegal. On the other hand they want to infiltrate and infect other cultures with their own loose mores! See how they even use a multilateral body like the WTO to force their flawed, demented and down-right immoral culture down the throat and into the minds of societies and nations having their own superior culture honed over many millenia! That is the essence of western capitalism!!

ghost of Marxism remains alive
by Reality Bites on Aug 18, 2009 12:45 PM  | Hide replies

The ghost of Marxism remains alive in the West as well. Karl Marx is still honored even though socialism is considered a failure. Leftists - those who worship the ghost of Marx - hate America. America is the land of civil rights & women's rights. Leftists don't know this. They support these rights, but continue to oppose America.
Karl Marx did not consider himself a mystic, and the philosophy he created was consciously committed to rationality. Yet Marxism has a definite mystical component. Marxists believe that capitalism is doomed, although there is no evidence to support such a belief. Stranger yet, they believe the state will wither away, although few states were ever less designed to wither than communist regimes. They even believe that alienated labor and conflict will end all by themselves once communism is achieved. If that is not mysticism, what is?
Before 1989, there were probably only two systems of belief left in the world that people would kill for: Issilam and Marxism. Now there is only one: Issilam.
Deng Xiaoping, the last leader to kill for Communism, ordered the Tiananmen Massacre because he wanted the Chinese to believe in Marx.

Karl Marx communism was different from what is being preached. and no Issilam and Marxism are not weapon sto kill, we have made them potentially dangerous by thinking that they are an axis of evil.
Tienamann square was a brilliant example of how Govt which has balls can crush any rebellion which threatens national security, i advocate for such massacres and wished the same would have taken place in India at the time when gujjars took over a railway line and paraltsed the entire nation for so many days.

Re: Re: ghost of Marxism remains alive

Marxism, like any human phenomenon that exists through time, has evolved. It has been modified by Leninism - and by its own power. What started out as a system concerned with economics, achieving a classless society, has developed into a doctrine concerned with maintaining and extending its influence. Its goal is orthodoxy.
Totalitarian countries have always imposed severe and unnecessary restrictions on the liberties of their citizens. In a society in which the philosophy of the country demands that the needs of individuals must be subordinate to those of the state, people's rights are taken away simply to exercise and strengthen the state's power to take away rights. This despite the fact that Mao's Cultural Revolution has brought China more chaos than any other large country has had since the end of World War Two.
Irrationality did not die with Marxism. Nationalism is as fierce as ever. Religious fighting in India, a danger that seemed remote for decades, is once again a threat to life and peace. Blind faith, whether political or religious, places restrictions on thought. It is therefore a denial of the greatness - indeed, the essence - of the human species. Blind faith is what links Issilam to the ghost of Marxism.

The chinese are far better than the Indian rulers. It is good to be under the rule of Chinese than be under the corrupt kangresse, blood thirsty Communists,Fundamentalists Nikkerwallahs(RSS half Chaddhi),Bhaiiya castist party SP ,RJD etc.
Let the chinese rule India. Then only we Indian woudl come to know Dicipline,Hardwork,Equality and the dignioty of labour.Al the current politicians would be hanged for their corruption If china rules India.
Welcome China instead of criticising it.We Indians need such ruthless rulers in order to have dicipline in our social behaviour.

Japanese: Give us Bihar and we will turn it into Japan in 3 months.

Laloo: Give us Japan and we will turn it into a Bihar in 3 days.

So what if Indians took 200 years to free from Union Jack. If China takes over india, it needs only 200 days for making china into an India (Raj Thackeray, mayawati, MK, Jaya, Mamta...)
