Circa 1967 April 10,I reached Lucknow on a transfer from Mumbai and was temporarily put up at YMCA.My friend and collegue decided to host a dinner to celeberate the arrival of a Mallu in Nawabi Lucknow. And the food was Tudays Kabab and liver fry.
42 years after I still remember the taste of divine Kababs. I wish all the best to Mohammad Usman.
Great news any ways we at delhi already have two tunday kebab shops one in New frnds colony and other is probably near safdarjung ( not sure).... price is 70 rs per plate ,slightly high as compared to lucknow but tunday the name itself makes u forget abt price... I just hope these upcoming franchisee can retain the taste of tundey kababs... wht to say my mouth is already watering.... just talking abt the tunday kebabs acts like a apitizer

Don't worry... stay calm, Trust the Lord of Sanathan Dharma. He is coming. A Cradle Snatching Desert Nomad is no match for us.
In India.. especially Middle Classes now behave as if they are in America. They have made Pizzas and Burgers their staple food. Their Income is limited but wants unlimited. On the other hand Americans are now trying frugal living which is what our ancestors did forever. Homecooked food is simple, healthy and cheap. The cost of making a Pizza with Maida and cheez might be Rs.30 or Rs.40 but they are selling it for Rs.500. Simple waste of money. We should stick to basics to prosper personally, professionally and spiritually.

that is not the case. the actual reason is that the Indian Market opened up in the last few years. Now ppl can afford and eat foreign foods that they did not have access, even like 10 years back. It is just a phase that will wear off with time. There is no offence is visiting these joints once in a while. No one living off of it.
If you think we Indians are living on credit and spending unlimited..you need to change your thought process...any guesses which is the country where maximum credits are used? what do you think the current credit crisis is all about? It is not happening in India...

Personal freedom is what makes India free. And its good economics.People have more jobs because people are eating out.Plus the clients have a 'feel good factor' when they eat out.All glories to pizzas, sushis, biriyanis and burgers.
And if you do not like that, you can always travel to Afganistan tribal areas, they have a cukture of home cooked food there, and its cheap and healthy too. Good luck with the journey...
