The fundamentals of IT sector seriously require a review. The basic premises of quality, cheap land, exemptions and cost advantage are on very thin edge and unless this is addressed, the recovery will be further delayed. The un-employability of work force and increasing inflation make the task further difficult. After automation of business processes, there is little new to be done and till now most of this new stuff has come from the west. While many companies have diversified to other businesses to offset these factors, it is not sufficient to relieve the industry. On the other hand, if we relax expecting an automatic recovery, chances of actual recovery maybe further delayed.
