this story seems suspiciously like a planted story...why on earth would someone who does a 50 foot freefall wake up alive....the whole thrill of bungee jumping is knowing you could break your butt doing it...the instances of death from failure are extremely rare...about one reported death so far in 1997 for millions of jumps every year...the real risk comes from stupidity ..people with health risks indulging in it...
