Friends, what most of you have reported, are the symptoms of a bigger systemic malfunction.
What then is the root cause?
Let's trace it - in brief....
After struggling for 200 years, we achieved freedom.
The pioneers of the independent India decided that democracy was the best model of governance. It breaks the age old hierarchy of poor and rich, upper and lower, have and have not, privileged and underprivileged. It gives every individual to be the master of his own mind, to be able to take decisions on his own, to speak his mind and pursue his dreams without being subjugated.
The visionaries of 1947 wanted India to be a country with equality of freedom.
But they had forgotten a hidden principle, without which democracy cannot work.
The country men were not taught the other side of freedom - sense of responsibility. They were not taught that democracy also requires each of us to be sincere at our duties, to attend to our tasks with utmost care, to treat fellow countrymen with respect.
Problems such as poor quality at call centers, lack luster attitude while handling queries and indifference in almost every sphere of public services have germinated from this critical misunderstanding of democracy.
Attitude plays important role in achieving organizational goals. Most Indians think that they can do any task. Ask them to pee in their pants, I bet they wont do that. Lets conquer our attitude first, then we will dream about ruling the world.
Brought dell laptop in dubai...call centre service worst here...had to call 10 times.that too they wont even respect customer call here..i immediately called dell india..service was more than expected that too with mail support..indian service is excellent..

Dell Support from India is worst .... they keep transferring calls between departments for no reason and idi0ts don't even have clue which dept. handles what.
We Indians are fit to memorize, write exams and get 99% marks. And we have super ego. Our soft skills are horrible. Why do desis speak English so fast? To cover up the mistakes. If this continues, then the BPO jobs may move to Cyberjaya, Malaysia or Philippines.
India should stop integrating with the world economy. The real friends of India are the African nations. Indians are not meant to integrate with the west. They should quietly bow out of the world politics. I support SP because India doesn't need computers. It needs manual jobs. India should ask its elite & rich people to leave India ASAP. Then India will shine. Jai Ho!

yes you are right we should also junk all the automobiles al modes of transport because they were given to us by the west . and we should start using bullock carts again . we should all grow our own food and start farming then we wont have to worry about anything . we should go back to stone age .. vow what an opinion you have i agree
we are indians and english is our mother tongue our forefathers were from great britain who left us in 1947 which gives us the moral right to copy , like and seek in our miserable lives whatever is western .american or british .. we feel so proud of ourselves when we get noticed in the western world .. whether the reason is good or bad ... thats why when danny boyle called us slumdogs it made us so excited that we placed him at the same spot as mahatma gandhi ( Father of the Nation ) and forgot the fact it was actually an insult and a slap on the nations face ... Indians are now called SLUMDOGS in america ...doesnt matter we got two oscars ... we are a nation of low self esteem

Slumdog = underdog from slum ... no one ever called Indians as slumdogs :D
Isn't the character in that movie is from Slum and isn't he underdog to win the competition as he has no proper education. (now don't tell me India don't have slums at all) ??
Refer to a scene where they addresses all Indians as Slumdogs or dogs ?? ... stop spreading false stuff.
BTW, go and watch Departed there is one solid line on Indians which is clearly targeted at Indians.
