Now, the govt is trying to top up share market. But it helps the FIIs to sell the shares with them at a premium than their worth according to current market realities. Aren't they (PM, FM and RBI Gov) helping FIIs to sell and run
An excellent coverage of the present ciris, inflicted by the arrogant and foolish regime in USA.
India can sieze the opportunity to become an imoprtant econoimc player, but the present leadership hardly qualify for that job, Mr. Manmohan singh still cannot come ou tof the number crunching days and harps all the time only on GDP growth like his other team mates - chidambarum and Montek. Can't ehese guys, the darlings of the media and economic pundits, think of using the forx reserves for building infrastructures like Roads, Ports, Irrigation, Power, Airports etc. ?.
the best part of this article is when the author is saying that no country worth its salt is having the guts to say to US 'See, stop borrowing and spending, becoming broke and then hurting the other foolish countries who raised capacity to feed the US greed'. The US should change its policy of supporting 'consumer confidence' into 'every man by his need (not greed!)'. It should educate its people to become more decent and orderly in its life, and not supporting the excessively bad habits of owning 2 palatial houses, 10 credit cards, house full of electronic gadgets, furniture, white goods and toys, for family of 1 and a half. The other countries too should join hands and say to US to stop its foolish consumerism.

Dear Viswanathan Couple of facts our writiner is hiding is that all nations of the world trades in Dolar as nglish is become the global laungage has dollar beacome the world currency of trade. This means any nation which have to trade have to trade in dollar terms . This is done by others not out of their love for the US nor out out of their fear for US military but beacuse US is the largest economy in the world . In Other words europe china and jappan put together is samaller than US economy. This means that any Nation that trades any thing most likely is doing 80% of their trade with US. Hence dollar most comonely used. The US have over the years pushed consumption and always belived in deficit budgets to expand demad and keep the tarde balance on their side. Now that they are in trouble you like it or Not You are in trouble. For example If Infy did not do business in US it will not be what it was today as 90% of their revenues comes from US. Now that US is declining his over all business is impacted. But i am afraid becuse of this had infy not started the company its self it would on the first palce have not become a 2 billion dollar company ! ! iT COULD HAVE blamed US and said i will not do business with them . Atleast today they are a 2 Billion comany and may become a 1 Billion company with US recession. With out Us businss it would probalay be some 100 cr company !

The world over, this recession is being used by incompetent and greedy corporations to fund their misdeeds and inefficiencies. Imagine the cheek of an association of industry leaders who are well-off, heeled and what not, going to L K Advani (who is foreseen as the PM elect) for seeking a bailout package. What advanced thinking... wish they forecasted their business demand more effectively, rather than acquiring companies and properties abroad. Now, I can foresee that these blokes will get packages to line their colorful begging bowls. Govt. too feels that people's lives are at stake. So, in place of letting these business houses collapse, it needs to take steps to bail them out. I would suggest, nationalize the entire lot of companies that look for bailout packages and sack the management. They should also be asked to sell their majority stakes to a national corporation designed to take care of these ill-managed corporations. This will make seeking bailouts a more serious affair and ensure that these corporations do not come begging unnecessarily for miscalculations and bad business. Also, to safeguard people's interest, the Govt. should just guarantee our money in the banks that have lent to these 'going bust' shops. It will help ensure that only the real needy ones come forward.
