Supreme Court judgement is wonderful, a very just and most welcome by the people like us.Insurance company can never deny payment of actual expenses.Denial spoils the basic purpose of insurance.Pre existing clause to be scrapped with immediate effect by Private and Public sector both.This is meant only to make profit at the cost of human sufferings.
Good job done by Supreme Court. Govt. is giving concessions for so many things. Govt. should ask the medical insurance companies to help the people to get maximum health coverage.
Finally a big blow to the Medicare giants who deny the claims made by lesser educated and unfortunate. People need to realise that most of the time when insurance companies deny a claim, its based on unjustified grounds.Common man just cannot understand the medical and legal terminologies used in the denial letter. Its really a genuine order passed by Supreme Court of India. It will bring a sigh of relief to all the mediclaim policy holders. I just hope that thsi rule is applied to private insurance companies too like ICICI Lombardt.
