Indian Oil - Must buy. Bonus candidate. Will start shooting up once oil prices start easing.
Shipping Corpn - Another bonus candidate. LIC Hsg Finance - Great results. And a great dividend. At Rs.360 it is a steal. This is a future HDFC. Will in fact take over HDFC's position as market leader. With a backing of a parent company - LIC , its financial strength is unquestionable.
Infosys - It uptrend has begun. Finally some shrewd investors have started investing in this not only as an IT company but also valued as a part real estate company - because the company has purchased HUGE tracts of land in major cities for its business in the last few years. Less than 50% of its land is unutilised. Right now it is merely an investment which has been appreciating ( again not yet reflected on its balance sheet) quite well. With mainstream IT business going well the future is GREAT.
Canara Bank - An unnoticed bank scrip as most attention is paid to ICICI , HDFC Bank or other PSU Banks like SBI ( SBI is overpriced now ) Bank of India and Bank of Baroda. Canara Bk is cum dividend of 80%. At Rs. 240/- it is FANTASTIC purely as a dividend yield share itself. JUST GRAB IT.
