IT returns and the Polititions. For heavens sake dont be naive. No act will serve any purpose. Cant expect a politition to be honest - this is an unusuable eye wash to be used for personal gain.
Let Income-tax department issue scrutiny notices to all MPs/MLAs/MLCs to scrutinise their IT returns with reference to affidavits of assets filed with Election Commission. Let no other returns be picked up for scrutiny.
Every political party in India collects money from Government Employees though the latter are not permitted to contribute t such funds. Government employees cannot become members of political parties which remained in books only. In future also such collections/contributions will remain and no account of such funds would reflect in the Accounts books of the political parties. therefore, there is nothing to cheer about this provision.
Party funding is the root of major corruption in India and must be under peoples domain to question it. Parties are nothing but managed as mafiosi and Politician Criminal nexus emancipates from there.
it is always in the interest of wood to liquidate termite , similarly, when corruption is there it has to be liquidated, our public life is pungent with the smell of corruption, and our leaders and govt servants are imunne to corruption and have mastered the still to make money illegally
why RTI all public related, information should be on net, now a days our rulers rather than serving have become, money makers in the grab of public service , WHY RTI it sould be on net.Let us have live video on their performence except when our leaders are on their private work, they should be in the public view, not only leaders even beuratcrats,

yess i agree with u....RTI is an act which is very good but it has its own problems like public authorities either dont or give vague information which is irrelevant to the information sought. Appeal process is also very tardy and complicated lot of time is waisted . Stringent action should be taken for any authority giving vague / irrelevant information. Only good work done by our Prime Minister is introduction of RTI . RTI act needs more teeth in my opinion.
iN A DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY LIKE INDIA, EVERY CITIZEN HAS RIGHT TO SEEK INFORMATION ROM IT DEPARTMENT EITHER UNDER IT ACT OR THE RTI ACT. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND AS TO FOR WHAT PURPOSE POLITICAL PARTIES ARE AFRAID TO GIVE SUCH INFORMATION. AFTER ALL PARTY'S FUND IS THE PUBLIC MONEY AND IN OTHER WORDS NATIONAL MONEY. IN MY OPINION, ONE SHOULD NOT COMPEL TO SEEK THE INFORMATION OF ANY INDIVIDUAL PERSON OF THE PARTY, BUT ONE HAS FULL RIGHT TO SEEK THE INFORMATION OF PARTY'S FUND SOURCES.
