He enlighted the name of india on very big scale. He deserve much respect from indian. Congrats sir. Also most of bengalis are very intelligent and knowledgable. Bengalis are great human resource of india.

He enlightened the name of India, Which India abct. India do not care about inventions, India does not care about research. Public is a bunch of Idiots to them it does no matter =ho good an equipment is as far as it works for a while even if the design is stolen from somewhere else. India does not respect an one doing any research or invention there is no company who will buy the invention and manufacture and market it at global level. Indians do not have the ability to do so. No wonder all good scientist, researchers and inventors look at foreign countries. India is not capable of any thing except corruption and sex. Show me one thing that has made the world a better place that has come out of India.

This resource is wasted very wisely by Chinese agents rulling in WB for 30 yrs.Becoz if it is not done,India would find themselves very near China.

(sic )..don't rest on past laurels my friend..wake up to the reality..bengal is nothing now..it is a disgrace that the birth land of such revolutionaries (excluding amartya) has reached the pits of stagnation....WB is in dire need of another revolution..

so much jellous of bengal !! jellousy does not pay. india's independence is largely contribution of bengalis. bengal has produced greatest people in every field - education, science, art, performing art, culture, literature, drama, cinema, sports and what not. bengal will go on developing and progressing despite these ill cultured people.

this is not a forum to discuss this issue...we are discussing the achievement of one of fellow indian in USA and around the world.We can put aside the comparisons of bongs,marathas,tamils etc.
i have heard the sound on bose music system. it is superb and unmatchable. i always wondered whethere there is any bharteeya behind this and today I found. i am proud of our respected dr bose
All his background have contributed for this great acheivement; but his contribution to science of sound and true reproduction through small speakers is of a very high order. Like Edison, he has also made the product a business success. I have not read a single negative report about Bose speaker system.

Hi, you made some mistake in the names of famous Bengali people: It is Sharat Chandra Chatterjee (not Bose),Bankim Chandra Chatterjee(not Bose)
Bose audio systems are the best in the world.While Bengalis , Tamilians , Punjabis have all contributed to the Nobel Laurietes India has produced , we are also equally proud of Dr.Bose, Kalpana and the likes for each achieving fame in their respective fields. Perhaps, many people don't know that Dr. Bose's father reached the shores of America with practically no money in his pocket. As a refugee he was helped by our Great Swami Vivekananda with money when he learnt about the sad plight of Dr.Bose's father. From humble beginnings ,look where Dr. Bose has reached.
