vishakpatnam deserves all those qualities which a IT companies requires. Good nature and clamite..etc., In vishakapatnam we enjoy working. mainly the non resident of vishakapatnam..
Guys, wake up....Visakathapatnam is going to Rock in IT and ITES. There are lot of vacant plots for the big companies to set and tap the talent from all over AP and other states. The only problem Vizag has is the coneectivity, if couple of shatabdi's and low cost airlines frequency increses, the towm will get lof momentum.....Its the only city with Natural harbour and sourdouded by mountains. So definitely Vizag can be the next IT hub in AP and get a good response provided many new IT companies shows interest in setting up their shops.

Till recently Vishakapatnam was being hyped as the capital of Andhra after the state is divided. After TRS received a burial, they need a new reason to hype this city. I hope it will remain a education town. Andhra Pradesh should preserve their lone beautiful town.
In the mid-eighties, India Today predicted that Vishapatnam will be the next major city in the coming decades. Luckily that did not happen.
Vizag pops-up only when people want to think of an alternative to Hyderabad. It's not a natural choice for any investor and not a natural choice for anyone to go and settle. Vizag has nothing special to offer, in fact, it has its own problems like, the culture. It's a very laidback town with lot of uneducated masses. If you don't speak telugu then it's not a place for you. The other major problems are: pollution, extreme summers, low job prospects and boring place. Real estate speculators are trying to create a rosy picture but smart people should not fall for this trap.

EXACTLY. The beautiful town has lost a lot of charm in the past two decades due to the hype. Goa and Vishakapatnam should be preserved from greed and commercialization. Every city should not fall to filthy greed like Mumbai did.

Ofcourse vizag deserves place in IT happening places, this article is sheer hype. After TRS debacle there is huge disspointment in vizag/bza real estate sector. Author wants to use this article to divert user attention and to get attraaction
Govt shd extend tax benefits to companies setting up at Tier II and Tier III cities. Visakhapatnam is well connected by Rail, Road and it airport can accomodate more flights. Govt should seriously consider moving all IT companies to Tier II cities to ease the congestion, traffic pollution.
Vizag is a great location as an IT alternative to Hyderabad. Hyd is over crowded and cannot hold any more people. Vizag's infrastructure is good as it is a planned city.. it has not been filled to capacity. With the arrival of airport and other facilities, population will migrate to vizag instead of hyd. AP needs a 2nd nucleus for development.
