1999 Dom Perignon ?
by Joideep on Jul 23, 2008 04:07 AM  | Hide replies

I bet all those people would not have been able to tell the difference between a 1999 Dom Perignon and a $50 Champagne. It's all image for them, style over substance. If these people gave 1% of their salary per year to charity and paid all their taxes (without cheating on them) India would be better place

this article reads wonderfully disgusting , indias educated elite pretending to be white people, not rich people. exactly where did the author grow up in , some valueless middle class household whose only aspirations is about getting into a good course and working for corporates. and this is compared to maharajahs .hah . good one .
what is the meaning of bloated nonsense like"UNDERSTATED ELEGANCE" whats that mean . white man looks much better on average than indians structure wise . and pretending to belike him in dress and drinks makes you white as well. is that all that corporate success can buy .
and there is a deep underlying sexual frustration permeating the article as well as the new rich . if they want to be broad minded about sexual relationships , go ahead and be so . whats that got do with brands like la this la that , french call girls for indian corporates? as i write this i have an as from mobile company on the right where theres a indian woman with a european style dress and sneakers and her daughter dressed even more so . would that be the case of a person writing this in europe would they see local women dressed in saris in the ads.
something is seriously wrong somewhere ,people have stopped thinking .god i hate country heads of foreign mncs.

I link the way you put it "pretending to be white people" Very true. Nobody wants that shit in the west so now they bring it here. Its nice to have luxury and quality, but why the hell to pretend you're them. You don't have to aspire to look like a rich white man. Its a nice product. If you got the cash buy it, don't slober if you don't.

Nobody wants it in the west?? How did you get that? Corporates are expanding globally. So they are bringing their products to different geographies. This is business. The same exact thing Indians do to expand and grow.

Yep some Indian pretend to be white men..lol that was freakin funny. The truth is not every men dresses in armani like some fools think. White men are more casual than any and I wish we could pick that up than going for branded shit available at exorbitant prices.

Most of the Indian males wear western style clothes at home and work. What is wrong with women wearing western style clothes? Your comments seem hypocritical.
