Some sugestions
1)remove all central/atate govt taxes on oil, decontrol the prices let oil be available as per international market rates.
2)tax all petrol/diesel vehicles Rs 1 lakh or 20% of the MRP whichever is high. exclude buses, trucks ambulances
3)remove all taxes give IT benefits to manufacturers of electric vehicles
4)encourage research in IITs for cars based on electricity or water
5)fight oil producing countries by taxing all exports of foodgrains, pulses and eatables by 500-700%. If export of food items are taxed we will have more food for domestic consumption, prices of food items in india will come down , farms can also be used for jatropha cultivation or ethanaol based fuel production.
6)start tram and streamline railway transport, start ro ro services for trucks by railway in betwen major metros
7) give 100% IT tax benefits to energy producers from renewable energy resources.
8)motivate other nations who export to oil producing countries to enter into barter agreemnets take oil give foodgrains.
9) economically fight Bush USA Who has compounded the OIl inflation by a) encouraging Speculation, bush and bernake represents the speculation lobby b) US fed artfically keeping low intrest rates so as to kill the dollar which in turn hurts growing economies.
10) kill the demand for oil , research for all the alternatives. See that india's dependence on oil falls down every year.
11)every train on indian railwasy should have two free luggage compartments

Cont
11)every train on indian railwasy should have two free luggage compartments for the transport of farm/diary produce
12)introduce more electric trains , put heavy toll on road usage inbetween cities
13)come out with statements every week of how much less imported crude is being used, to manipulate such data simply import less crude let there ne shortages in the pump people will start using public transport to avoid long ques at the petrol station. US based funds ie commodity speculators once they come to know that indian demand for oil is reducing will lighten thier open positions and may even go short

When people are busy trying hard to corrupt the system .. and middle east governments are busy building MOVING SKYSCRAPERS ...

This government is not going to last ... but i dont know how long the damage is going to be there
