Tata's feat is doubly appriciable as the company fought the odds-and in India there seems to be more odds than evens-, faced obstacles-and there are plenty of 'em too, to do something innovative.
I keep wondering that if the Tata's were treated like this, how is a common man with an innovative idea expected to excel in India? I am not the one to beat down our country, for even with all its faults I still love my India, but it is indeed surprising that even in this day and age people are spending their time and energy in pulling others down rather in trying to be upwardly mobile themselves.
I mean I know attitudes don't change much in India, but its about time we all grow up and put our hands together for this great achievement. It is history in the making, and I am proud to say my India achieved it.

Keep dreaming. People want seats from LKG to PhD and beyond free, without studying. They want jobs in govt and private sector without putting in any effort. They are ready to destroy our culture and social fabric to get everything for free.

Naturally if there is a guy who talks sense, like, for example, to get a good seat in a decent institute, study hard, people will call him an upper caste exploiter and give 1001 reasons why they can't study etc and drive him out of the country.

Even the stock market reflects this mentality of the common Indian. Invest 1 Rupee and get 100 Rs in 2 days. How the hell is this going to work? How long will people cheat themselves like this?

There are no values left in India. Very few have them, and see how much resistance they face.

And yes, forgot to add, after driving away people out of the country the same folks will start abusing those cultural refugees and accuse them of greed. Such people are morally, ethically and culturally destitute.
