It is not at all surprising that countries like France, Sweden, Netherlands, Germany and even China are ahead of us in the pisswah technology.
This is due to the tendency of the majority of us Indians relieve ourselves in the open.
I have seen this myself recently in an Old Delhi home so I am inclined to believe that "almost 35 % of Indian households" have no provision for urinals or toilets.
No wonder "over 65 per cent of the population, not only in rural but also in semi-urban and urban areas in the country, relieve themselves in the open".
Let us salute Karunanidhi for allowing the first such paying for peeing and pottying places in Tamilnadu. Hope Balasaheb Thackarey will encouage these toilets in Maharashtra which has the biggest pissypotty stinks in the country.
