I am 35yrs of age & i have started SIP in SBI Magnum gold & Reliance Vision (Both equity & dividend sharing funds) @ 1000/-p/m ,its been 6 mnths now ,inur expert opinion how long should it take for me to gain a substantial amount from these funds if i keep investing at the same rate i.e. @1000/- p/m ??

Yes. It is a good scheme with almost assured dividends [They are tax free] and you can withdraw after three years and retain 80C benefit.
