I guess that GVK must have never encountered a batch of politicians like Kripa Shankar Singh who do not want any development in the Santacruz belt so that more hawkers and slums can be accomodated. Gross misuse of power is clearly evident when one lands and sees the slums that have mushroomed so close to the hangars. DOnt think the second runway will ever be built.

GVK is a master political manipulator; in fact his family based in Hyd/AP have made there money by occupying prime lands and manipulating state policies for there benefit
with lot of protest , we are forced to accept the truth that Indians are not respected in International scenerio. But the worst is the attitude of our own Indian officials against NRI's in INDIA.
many of the International airports have seperate ques for Immigration for their Nationals and a special approach of softness and importance to the returning nationals.
Everybody want to squeeze the NRI's, as if they are returning from a Goldmine? Many of the Airport officials earn thrice the monthly income than the NRI's returning back home

I think the concept of NRI goldmines is long gone, the NRIs should realise that ppl of india have more money than NRIs. nowadays, without a doubt. they should keep their feet on the ground and keep their mouths shut and get in the que to avoid their ass being whopped.

NRI'S ARE NOT WELCOME FOR HAVING MONEY. THE LOCALITE HAVE MORE RICHER THAN NRI'S EVEN THEY HAVE DOUBLE BLACK MONEY IN THEIR COFFERS THAN WHITE MONEY. NRI'S ARE CONTRIBUTING AND INDUCTING 25 BILLION DOLLARS EVERY YEAR. THIS MONEY INDUCTING INTO INDIAN ECONOMY THAT MAKE LOCALITE MORE RICHER AND ECONOMY GROWING. THIS 25 BILLION DOLLARS GETTING WITHOUT EXPORTING ANY THING. ONLY NRI'S MIND, FLESH AND BONE IS CONTRIBUTING.

i dont understand people like Raj, who dont understand that NRI's are also one among the INDIAns, Contributing the INdian Economy and have patriotism in their minds not second to anybody.
the Emigration officers and the custom officers look at your bags as if the dogs trying to snatch away the bag of fish in your hand. you get to feel the height of corruption in india from the moment you stand in the emigration counter.

your reply proven my message true. NRI's are indeed helping the Indian economy by bringing in the foreign exchange for the country. The attitude of people like you in the Emigration is unbearable. its hard earned money not the one what many of the Indian govt. employees earn by corruption and backstabbing.
Read my message, The other countries give much more importance and facilities to their nationals returning back home. Welcoming with a warmth.

NRI are helping the indian economy.. AGREE. But thats not the reason why Indians should be given the second grade treatment. NRI are not there in so called Land of apportunities to help Indian economy, they are there to milk the lots of $ and send it back to India to purchase an expensive car or a penthouse in a posh area of the city. Then come back and enjoy here like a King. But not even single NRI comes back because they are so greedy that they always think let me stay here for one more year and then one more and then one more. But I must appretiate these NRIs, because they get humiliated each and every day in their second home but still they are there why? just for money money and money. Now helping the indian economy is just the side effect of NRIs settled in other countries and we cannot give the entire credit to NRIs.

Be kool. Dont think that the valuations are not justified. I agree that all the large caps are over priced, that doesnot mean that their fundamentals are not good. Regarding infrastructure boom, if you see every other city is going for a new airport, metro, express high ways thats just one part of the infra. Again every young indian wants to have him own house thats the reason real estate sector is booming. Since the Rs is becomming stronger day by day, it makes more sense for foreign investors to keep their money in India and make profit from the booming economy. I am sure you must have lost lot of money in trading thats the reason you are not happy with the sensex @20K.
it is heartening to find TWO gaints from Andhra Pradesh in airport construction with intrenational standards - GVK and GMR. we the people from AP feel proud of them!!!

know the reason ?? coz AP produces the cheapest manpower in India, that all construction ind. needs.
However good these airports will be the same rude ppl will be doing the job at the gates...so really how does these things matter?? First our country needs to learn to behave and that I think singapore airport can give them a training....sounds rude but thats the reality today....Or else we will soon be called as people with no culture..

Ravi,,,,people like you are marked at the Mumbai Airport. The jobs you do in the Arab world which no Arab want to do. You live like slaves and act like slaves in Arab world. And then you come thru our airports without the knowledge of any other language than Malyalam, Kannada, Telegu and Madrasi, and then act tough with illegal goods which you carry.
