I mean really!! they want our money yet they bloke our doctoros and other professionals from attaining any sort of work permit! Bristish citizens get first recruitment preference I do agree with that, but why do EU citizens get a leverage from those of us in India or the 3rd world?? Why not make it a level playing field and the best person get the job???

Why we need to invest in london. Invest that Money in our own country in good projects will benefits you ten times more returns than from other countries.Remember every country has its own policies. If they feel friendship with India is good for their survival they will make friendship easily and once they felt they don't need your help, knock you down to ground easily. so be careful.

Amit,

There are two sides to the coin.

Let us not forget the recent happenings in Maharashtra and other places from time to time. Sometimes, one feels it is safer to invest overseas than in our own motherland. At least there is a govt to protect the investors! So far, nobody is treated an outcaste and unwanted while those in power look helpless, as it happens in our dear country.

I do agree, this vast nation we of many cultures religions and views yet remain united due to all those facets that make us humble, our will to forgive to unite and to be humble. If we let a few use means of segregation and intimidation to separate us then we cease to be!

our people in india are morons, they are still fascinated by the materialistic things of the west and are enticed to it.its a shame.the brits are clever, our hard earned money is being invested in britain, but their will be no return to india, india's poverty will increase, britain will become rich at the expense of nothing, our students come to britain for higher study, but really there is nothing special here, people are attracted by the pomp and show of this country, wake up to become more realistic, india and the government shud look for its own interest ,just as the way brits are doing.here in britain there is a lot of job discrimination ,people only realise this after coming to this country, india shud stop exporting food material here in uk.we shud feed our own people first, and always keep in mind ther is nothing special in uk,it is all pomp and show which attracts people

Paul,

While I abhor discrimination of any sort, the world welcomes talent. We know Indians heading multinationals, but they are ridiculed in some of our postings, while foreign reports hail them generally. We are anyway no angels by any means.

My experience with foreigners is some are as good as or as bad as any of us. Of course, their background is different, ditto us. Sometimes we differentiate more by creed, colour, & of course religion.
