COMMON MAN AT LOSS DUE TO MCX
by APURVA RUGHANI on Feb 17, 2008 08:04 PM

MCX AND ITS CLONES HAVE DONE THE BIGGEST DAMAGE TO COMMON MAN IN RECENT TIMES. THEY AND THEIR CRONIES CLAIM TO WORK FOR BETTERMENT OF FARMERS DUE TO VARIOUS PRODUCTS OF OPTIONS AND HEDGE PROVIDED BY THEM.
HOWEVER FACT IS PRICES OF COMMODITIES HAS GONE UP BY MORE THAN 100 % DUE TO THESE PEOPLE. HARDLY ANY FARMERS ARE BENEFITTED. ONLYT ADVANTAGE TAKENBY BIG INVESTORS/ RICH PERSONS (WHO UNDER THE GUISE OF BECOMING FARMERS ARE LOOTING OUR NATION.) NAKED FACT IS MOST OF THE PERSONS INVESTING IN COMMODITIES FUTURES/OPTIONS ARE DOING WITH THE IDEA OF MAKING MONEY BY RAISING THE PRICES ARTIFICIALLY. THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH ANY FAMING EXPERIENCE OR OFFERING BENEFIT TO FARMING SECTOR.

TIME HAS COME TO DECIDE WHETHER THE COMMDITIES EXCHANGES BE TOTALLY SCRAPPED OR NOT IN ORDER TO BRING DOWN PRICES AND MAKE LIFR ASIER FOR CRORES OF ORDINARY INDIANS.

Importance of Innovation
by Anumakonda JAGADEESH on Feb 15, 2008 07:40 PM

The knowledge-driven economy affects the innovation process and the approach to innovation. The traditional idea that innovation is based upon research (technology-push theory) and interaction between firms and other actors is replaced by the current social network theory of innovation, where knowledge plays a crucial role in fostering innovation.
In the knowledge-driven economy, innovation has become central to achievement in the business world. With this growth in importance, organisations large and small have begun to re-evaluate their products, their services, even their corporate culture in the attempt to maintain their competitiveness in the global markets of today. The more forward-thinking companies have recognised that only through such root and branch reform can they hope to survive in the face of increasing competition.
