Dhinkia should not miss the oppertunity
by on Feb 09, 2008 04:15 PM

In my personal opinion the people of Dhinkia should understand the future impact of a steel plant .
They are now saying that the betel vine culture is giving all their family an earning . But who can say about the weather condition or the soil standard in future . It may so happen that the land becomes unproductive after few years .

But a steel plant not only can generate direct employment but also indirect emplyment .
The best examples are satellite cities like Jamshedpur , Durgapur , Dhanbad , Rourkela which are developed because of the industry .
Neither can we ignore the developements in the fields of Healthcare , transport and education as an offshoot .
Today what the people are offered as rehabilitation policy is best in India . Even in states like Jharkhand , Madhyapradesh there is no such policy .

Another very important result of this protest is creating a mindset that will discourage others from investing in the state . That way its an hindrance to the developement of the State .
