I thought that I read that ADAG was disqualified for bidding for the 8 teams. And now what is this story about ADAG having kept itself away from the bidding process? Was my original understanding then wrong? Or are journos not getting their facts right
are these matches to improve indian pool of talent or just to make money.i dont think this will help the indian cicket in any way, too much of any thing will loose momentum. instead of cricket more inputs should be shown by these big corporates to improve hockey, as there are no takers for this game. ILOVE CRICKET JUT HOCKEY IS THE BEST.
This Lalit Modi acts as if he is big management guru..these fellows are sucking money in the name of cricket and cricketers.The glory of cricket dies because of these culprits.
If they were really concerned abt cricket they would have done this way before like county cricket in England.

I am a Cricket fan but we have lots of supports to cricket only. Instead of doing IPL for Cricket - They should support for the national Game - i.e HOCKEY (as these days we are ranke lower down the order). Looks shame as it is our national Game. WHY GOVERMENT cant do any thing about that. I mean base lable for HOCKEY - as well as big sponsership for Hockey.

SURE,HOCKEY CONTINUES TO BE OUR NATIONAL GAME !! DUES IT DESERVE THIS TITLE TODAY? WHY SHOULD GOVERNMEMT DO ANY THING; IT IS THE PLAYERS WHO BROUGHT DOWN THE STANDARDS AND IT HAS TO BE THEM AGAIN TO TAKE THE STANDARDS TO GLORIOUS HEIGHTS.CRICKET IS NOT MADE POPULAR BY THE GOVERNMENT BUT BY THE PLAYERS WHO ARE PROMOTED BY BCCI--- A PRIVATE BODY.
LET HOCKEY TEAM WIN OLAMPYCS AND IF THE GAME AND THE PLAYERS DO NOT GET SPONSERS THEN ONLY THERE WILL BE A CAUSE TO GRUDGE CRICKET. TILL THEN HOCKEY NOT ONLY NEED TO FEEL SHAMEFUL BUT ALSO TO BE PREPARED TO RELINQUISH THE TITLE OF NATIONAL GAME.
Nobody will watch this kind of games if Team India will not play who will watch this kind of Cricket... When team India is playing men women, kid, Rich, Poor everyone likes to watch.. but here for whom
This is going to kill soul of cricket. all these money makers will enter and make the spirit of cricket dirty. Wait for another six months people from D company and others will also enter and put pressure on player to either loose or win. we should condemn this practice.
