The whole point of airlines saying that mobile signals interrupting the in flight signals, and hence asking to shut down the mobiles is a complete hoax. Discovery channel clearly proved that even after artifically increasing the frequency of a normal mobile by many times, there was not such interruption to in flight signals etc.. However all airlines still maintain the stance that mobiles may disrupt airline signals(sic). All in the name of fooling people in name of technology, however why would then they allow calls from flights in that case where you have to pay money? Isin't it clear, its plain business? BTW the point of ettiques is a valid one and this observation is only a comment on the double standard of airlines.
As a frequent air traveller, I notice this. Also it is fairly true that the westerners follow good ettiquette. We can follow them at least in this respect. We must fine those who break instructions. Also alternately the flights should be provided with separate boxes, in which they can use their mobile, if they need to.

Agree with you. The errant people are scoffed at more there than here. There is not enough public behaviour to suppress the bad habits and inculcate good ones.
