So it means that Goenka made it big because of political connections ??

I dont see quality from them, compared to other companies...
Obviously, he would support Indira for the license-permit-quota raj

Instead of discussing his relationship it wold be more interesting his hurdles, failures and success..Expected more depth from the interview.

Exactly. If we are told about the lessons he learnt, hurdles he overcame, it would be very motivating and beneficial to the new upcoming generation. Will somebody do something in this direction? I mean interviewing RPG or collect info and posting here?

This is 'Rediff' not Hardvard Business Review. Rediff's reporters are not paid to go Indepth. They are paid only to scratch the 'Surface' like most Indian magazines!!
