The author should have provided at least some details of the projects' progress which China's Dongfeng or other Cos(cross country Piping and other infra layout) have won. It%u2019s a open secret that at least in 2 power projects one in Hydro power(North east/HP) and other in Thermal(Chattisgarh) the utilities have blacklisted China Cos and have gone to encash the initial (bidders )deposit money. The Cos have gone to court here though in China no formal courts (only people's courts)exist! About consumer goods made in China less said the better. The users of China made mobikes have learnt through their blood leave alone purse!Yes made in China knives are popular in India too!
The fact that China is dominating is due to teh support its GOvty gives to Industry and their Industries policy of lagve volume and less margins.Also there is good enough attitude towards quality. Indian industry as well as Govty laggs on all counts. No one can give certificate to India on Quality over China. Despite all those roumors China is able to capture market not just because of cheap products. We should introspect why we can not produce on mass and take advantage of our low cost manpower and low cost energy.
Inidans keep on loosing to Chinese manufacturers in every sphere , their capability is much ahead , even Baba Kalyani hv admitted dat. For example all d small gadgets we use are mostly frm China , like the Sony , Nikon and other digital cameras , the computers etc. For kind information to some stupid Indians who always complain about the Chinese quality , the Ambanis have hired the Chinese firm for their Yamunanagar - Haryana project , leave alone others !! So instead of barking Commie - Commie do some homework and hard work.
lay man in india just speaks what he sees ....that chinese goods are low quality.......... just because these lay men don't know much ........ actually v indian importers are to be blamed for that .....china is a manufacturing hub and can produce every thing of any quality ( high quality to low quality) they are more of a job work kind of companies .......we indian importers go china and give them GYAN ( Gyan batne ki aadat hai) how to produce sabse sasta maal ---- even if it is low quality ........ indian importers just wann import and make quick money and blame china for bad quality ............ CHINESE donn bother what we say about quality .............. as they know ..... that they can produce anything to everything with HIGH QUALITY AT MUCH CHEAPER RATES then in india ..... indians beware of CHINA.......... it's just 3-5 years left for us to GEAR UP ......... indians enhance production EFFECIENCIES, and govt. should go FAST with INFRASTRUCTURE (ROADS,POWER, SEZ's etc.)...........so please i request u all ... donn BALME china .......let's just IMPROVE our CAPABILITIES .......AB TO JAGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!

Dude, Ask European or middle east Petro or other comapnies....
They never buy Chinese Steel or any product to manufacture their industry. They prefer to buy only finished products from China with quality inspection.....
Chinese equipments etc are seen as worst than anything else on the earth.
I know it because I've been doing business in that field.
So stop talking false stuff.....
PS: Indians should stop being fools and stop accepting chinese equipments rather buy only finished and well inspected products...

If china enters in indian power sector what about Reliance power ???? Is reliance entering into solar power ? i read a news on "Reliance power .com" about it...
Dont trust on our Indian Private Companies theire only intention is to make money as early as possible and want become Ambanies,TATA's ... thats why they are prefering Chinese goods. Chinese Goods are famous in Competitive pricing with poor Quality. Dont compare BHEl with Chinese Cheap Quality power products.
Why Chinese and Communists showing so much interest in India? Why can't they go to Iran,Iraq,Afghan etc. to expand their Infra... They want to make money in India by exploiting Natural Resources and Man Power. Our politicians are giving so much chance to China. Our politicians ....what to say?

For your information, we go to all those places you mentioned and beyond. India is a market, and is treated as such. Don't complain. Learn from the Chinese experiences. Ten years ago, we were nothing in practically every field of importance, now we are something in something in almost every field. We aren't gonna stop where we are today. We are gonna continue improve ourself till such time we command the high ground of every field you care to mention. The long march to greatness has only begun.
Not just power sector, even electronic items, from mobiles to computers, cartridges etc almost every electronic items we buy carry "made in China" tag.
