How is American employer to be blamed for the $20000 they gave to Indian recruiters. Besides anybody aspiring for green card knows that these cannot be granted by private companies and there is a huge waitlist for them. If you have any doubts, the US commission during their interviews make it pretty obvious thru their comments and questions that all visas are temporary. If someone chooses to come here knowing all this then he/she cannot blame US employers for this. Also the versions of this story keep changing. These people came from India one year back, now the project they came on is almost over and they know they will have to go back to their wretched existence inferior working environment and lower wages. So they choose to harass employers, sue them, seek protection under whistle blower act to somehow force the employer to not retrench them and remain in US. Why did they take 1 year to sue the employer (around the end of project) if they were being treated like slaves? Now when US department of Justice has rejected their complaint becuse of lack of evidence at least they should stop their lies. They cannot decide who should investigate the allegations. These people just dont want to leave US and so they are creating all halla. Such bogus cases should not be given credence as it will only scare American emploers and spoil chances of genuine worker. In many sectors like IT American employers are much better than Tatas(TCS) which treat their employees like slaves and thats w

This foolish people do not know what they have done special Like Phd or research so they can get green card in 1 year. They all have done ITI maybe how can they think of getting salary of $50,000. Even if u do MBA from a worst university u make 30,000 to 45,000 in US. They r fooled by Indian agent not by the company. Don't do such foolish act so that whole world can laugh on Indian's.

How come they didn't go the media to begin with especially to CNN's Lou Dobb? So far, I have nt see any report in the American media. They say they were treated like a slave??? They have so many labor laws and rules in the US. There are so many holes in this story. They can protest all they want. At least in the US you dont have to be a citizen to protest. It is given. And we are famous for that. This must be investigated . Very hard to believe the whole story. My question is why they waited one whole year. They could have approached the media long back. THIS IS NOT CHINA.

as simple as why cricketers from the world play in India, IPL . Money. But rights of workers and their entitlement to a fair treatment donot cease are not exchanged for the salary. So an abuse is an abuse. Their demands are just. Donot confuse this with a protest for more money, it is a protest for more respect.
