Our govt. since inception has been with a mindset that Private companies in india cannot be trusted. They would happily do business with Pvt. cos. of other states but not indian. Might sound weired but true. We dont hesitate to buy weapons by foreign pvt cos. Companies vying for govt. projects need to show that they have a foreign collaborator with them. Without them they arent considered to be competent.

USA has not built a Nuclear reactor since 1979... Understand that USA is only a hurdle in accessing Nuclear related technology whose transformation is restricted by International treaties like NPT, CTBT, and NSG... it is high time for UPA/congress to go to NDA/BJP, to sort out the differences and move on with this important foreign policy issue with bipartsian support... Note also this; UPA/congress will not complete its 5 yrs term in its entirety... Left will pull out if not this year, than perhaps, perhaps, around September 2008, making the way for fresh election by December 2008... This is perhaps the last international issue congress will sort out in its term. In Congress term, Opposition has completely been marginalized, as to tender him inconsequential. Congress thinks India is still its family business.... How dare ManMohan sing tell us that he is surprised at the opposition of BJP to Nuclear deal... This moronsingh forgets that it is his party which is not inviting BJP/NDA to inquire about what it has done in nuclear deal...
