I grew with Chandamama! it was inspiration to my life it was my little print edition of the then wikipaedea! The ghost stories, Maryada Ramanna kathalu, Gundu Bheemanna kathalu, the serials like Paathaala Durgam, Navaabu Nandini, Durgesha Nandini, Vikramaaditya kathalu, inspired my child hood, and characterised me in to days form. The great graphical drawings of Chitra and Shankar were the highlights of Chandadama! I liked my Telugu Edition more htan any thing else.
Thanks MAMA I AM just waiting for the print copy of my telugu edition to my hands! krishna baalu
I am 50. I am a trainer. I keep my training sessions interesting with the short stories that I had avidly read in Chandamama/Ambuli Mama. While I don't forget to give credits to Chandamama, in all my sessions, I was not able to reply to queries on the magazine. I am happy that the magazine is being revived. I wish that it continues to be colourful with all those wonderful pictures. Awaiting to subscribe.
Now I am 54. Still I remember the days of borrowing Bound of Chandamama issues. It was a fantasy for us to read `Rakasi Loya' which went on years together. Bethala Stories, Gundu Bheemanna storeis.
Still I remember the Getup of each issue. Later the getup was changed. I dont like it. If I am not wrong, why the Chandamama should be brought in the same old traditional style.

I am 60 now and very well remember my chandamama storiesand the painter "Chitra"whose paintings made those stories live, I was having old editions of chandamama which only year before last were destroyed by termite for which I am still very much upset. I shall be happy to get old days revived.
I grew with chandamama.Ihad a taste of arabaian nights, shakespeare dramas, and some english stories, like gulliver travels in those fifties. My language and had a lot of improvement owing to chandamama. I wish all success in its new endevour and give a good reply to the onslaught of western fiction likeHarry Potter.
I am 60 and I have such fond memories of sort of addiction with "Chandamama" in Malayalam. Great pictures and simple language and huge number of stores were irrestible. We had no TV / Radio and "Chandamama" taught me reading habit. What a wonderful magazine! Good to haer that our children and grand children will continue to enjoy this great magazine!
