The need of the hour for HYundai is to get their pricing correct. They invariably get it wrong and then try to correct it later. Hyundai has also failed to come up with a good, competent and well-priced SUV in India. It has come up with hugely over-priced Terracan and Tucson which come dangerously close to the price band of much better and much more famous brands like the Pajero and get smothered natually. I do not believe that the Hyundai is incapable of coming up with a Scorpio,Safari beater in that range. Think about it Hundai.
Hyundai cars are more sturdy and safe compared to Suzuki cars. The obsession of Indians with mileage alone is affecting popularity of cars like Getz. Inner space is definitely much better in Getz
It is sad if Santro is going out of production. It is a really good package. Hyundai should consider the pricing of XO varient in the range of 3 - 3.5 lakhs. It will still be the bestseller.
