We need to have the lessons from all those developed countries, where the rich and poor divide has widened over the 60 years after the world war 2 and has not kept the promise of giving equality in respect of better living to all! In the USA itself the disparity in income is enormous leaving a yawning gap between the rich and the poor, showing the poor results of financial management both by Government and the private sector multinationals! The world's no 1 power company Enron is closed and the top executives charged with the record corporate fraud in siphoning of company's funds and drowing it in losses! The social system has to ensure the development for all to live with basic needs fulfilled and the growth should be oriented towards the reduction of the gap between the rich and the poor, but the reverse only is happening in India too!A hundred million people live on foorpath, two hundred million people do not get two square meals a day, a three hundred million do not have their own home in India and we now talk about Mukesh Ambani's billions and trillions! Is this we call democracy, a people elected Government to acheive this prosperity of an individual and those totally useless non working lot who mint money in the stocks of reliance can be taken aas the real working people of India, who are the backbone of this nation? just one percent of people to fly, the planes, airports, maintanence, the staff, etc as what we cough is about Rupees 1200 billions in India, can this be

I continu here: can this be justified? To save a nation of poverty what allwe do, how all we spend, is there any accountability? The bad and the monstrous captalists, the underworld like traders, theives, smugglers, law brekers, those who run brothels and women traffiking which also includes our members of parliment(!), muderers, corrupt to the core politicians who are willing to sell the whole nation for their livelyhood and we count on these all anti national - they all live happily with money and muscle power - can this be justified? Under these circumstances justifying any damn thing in regard to the corporate acheivement by a family, let it be anybody is a shame to all of us, the whole of India which got freed under the leadership of a man so simple to wear one cloth and fight against the British imeprilism!
Mahatma, born this day, never imagined the development of what we have today as the right way and so also other national leaders who have spent their wealth for the people have never made the vision of India as what we are today! Millions die in the hospitals of government which have become slaughter houses and in the same token we could say for every government function and results and it is really horrible to look at this nation where I could see everything dirty and filthy, nauseating to the end! The Indians in India are deprived of food and jobs, but for the foreigners to enjoy we have built five star hotels with world class comforts and the rich is happy about it!

I continu: In the five lakhs villages in India, for more than three lakhs villages do not have the water within two kilometers to fetch! One has to see to beleive the quality of drinking water in the villages which are just 50 kilometrs away from the richest and named as financial capital of India, the Mumbai! The schools, the understaffed educators, the corrupt adminstration, the worst of all the system of education itself so conveneiently made to make millions to fail and to get dropped from the schooling, the horrible power based job market, which is now run by criminals who mint money in crores each day, no rules and regulations on employment for the safety and security of workers in millions of private companies which operate in the most inhuman way with no check and control by the government for all of its breach of rules! It would be an himalayan task even to narrate all that negative that happens in astronomical dimensions, creating the empires of Ambanis and making the burials for starving millions!
Every industry is a big cheater and tax evader in this nation! We had the news that Reliance Industries and as well more than 2000 companies did not pay the company tax showing the concessional drawback due to the government's new provision of law for expenses to be accounted for 100% depreciation for the pollution control measures etc and that was sometime ago and as of today what all the measures they take is only GOK (God only knows!)
I have seen the way they recrui

I continu: RELIANCEhas recruited contracts working teams for all of its manahement including the plant operation and maintanence services, therby avoiding thr permanent employment to the people with all benefits to be paid, saving crorers of rupees everyday in all of thir plants! added they have not given the due preference to the local talent and as well the minimum percentage employument to those who were displaced by the industry in its locations and it is not only to Ambanis but also to all the big shopts the same is true! the local vollagers who lost their land, were displaced and to become beggers in their home state! Its cruel, horrible, inhuman, anarchistic, ugly, barbaric in text and language when the companies write on the wall about the corporate acheivements and attainments, totally burying the truth of destruction of society and the livilihood of millions! The way the rich has come to survive can be seen by the latest example: The DLF builderes, New Delhi came with an IPO for 10000 (Ten thousand) crores in the stock market and got 1.02 times of it and now they have advertised on their new projects of aprtments in Delhi, saying they are not giving an advertisement for it, except to send the private invitations to to the rich in the society since these partments are priced in the range of 5.5 to 12.5 Crores! The huge media and government (mainly that FM - Chidmabaram) saying is that the stock market boom is to enrich the middle class for its great investment of its mea

India should be proud of Mr. Ambani
by Sanjog Adke on Oct 02, 2007 02:24 PM

Mr. Mukesh Ambani is making money with his own brains and talent. We shall be proud of him as he is ranked as world's no. 4. Who do not want to earn money and become rich? but not everyone achieve what Mr. Mukesh has achieved. And he is not Danvir Karna (of mahabharatha) that he will distribute everything he has. How many of us give in Charity part of our earnings. Might be 0.1% or 1% than why shall he be give in charity. He has given employment to hundred and thousand. I think we shall be proud of him rather being jealous or critising.

HEFTY AMOUNTS TO CRICKETRS
by om makkar on Oct 02, 2007 02:18 PM

Cricketers are being paid hefty sums out of amount collected from the viewers, advertising rights and broadcasting rights sold by the BCCI and others. There has to be certain limits iin order to let them feel that game is not an adventure in the nature of commerce. major portion of the income of the organising bodies should be used in the development and maintenance of stadiums accross India, covering maximum possible remote areas also and on the provisioning of bats, balls, pads and other cricket accessories and for capacity building. The popularity of the game will spread, when more and more willing young generation gets the requisite infrastructure and support to excel in this game. The object should be to build in inflow of good players rather than making few players millionaire / billionaire. There is a very low attrition rate in cricket teams. This is because new competent players are not available in mass. WE need to utilise the funds for the betterment of game. Let the game not be professionalised with intent to make millions.
