Hyderabad is really a worthy place to live!
by vikas aditya on Nov 10, 2007 05:24 AM  | Hide replies

After living years in Delhi, Mumbai and other parts of country I wholeheartedly support that Hyderabad is the LEAST problematic city in India. We don't have any city in India which is perfect in all sense, but hyderabad gives you best value of your money, time and life as compared to any other city in India. For me if I am in India, it has to be Hyderabad!

It is nice to talk about development and especially Hyderabad in this context and the contribution whether Nayudu did this or (Sonia's other son) YSR did that.
The reality remains that the RICH have grown exponentially RICHER, the POOR have grown detrimentally POORER, and the middle class is getting very tightly SQUEEZED. The CITY is more populated, traffic despite the measures is unbearable, prices have gone through the roof and the common man is hurting.
How much development has one seen 50 kms from Hyderabad? How many of you have visited the villages or towns around Hyderabad. The farmers continue to live as they were 20 or even 50 years ago like their ancestors did. One or two might be driving two wheelers and a few carrying cell phones. But does this mean progress? Does this mean globalisation? Unless development moves outward from Hyderabad, I would call it urbanization not globalisation. My two cents sorry rupees!

Only global hyderabad is not enough
by bihari babu on Nov 08, 2007 11:11 PM

Indian smaller town & villages also have to wake up to the new reality of the world. Globalisation is not an luxury now, this is only option. If we want to creat jobs, work for people how else do u do it ? Govt does not creat jobs. Its business people who expand their business and creat wealth for society, and work, income for people. Govt only make policy and collect tax nd spends it (Money goes to corrupt govt. chamacha). America and other rich country are rich only because they have so many pvt companies all over nations, procduing goods, services and people participating in it.

Rakesh Gotri
Chandrababu, the architect of Hyderabad's Globalisation
by Rakesh Gotri on Nov 08, 2007 02:59 PM  | Hide replies

Hyderabad ebtered the global picture mainly due to the vision and efforts of Nayudu. Hyderabad was also considered as Madrasi in North India till Nayudu made the city famous and popular. But his successor Rajasekhar Reddy has already succeeded in converting Hyderabad into another Patna and AP into another Bihar. If you really see, nothing has happened in the city during the past three except land grabbing, kidnappings, rapes, murders, dacoities, corruption and above all ISI and its local agents becoming strong resulting in terrorist activities. Is this Hyderabad we wanted. Atleast Lalu has sweet tongue where as reddy has acis tongue abusing people. Now people should take upon themselves for bringing sanity and peace in this beautiful city.

Sorry, it is not Nayudu but Naidu.

Also Sorry, it was not Mr.Naidu but it was Mr.NTR who made the northies known about a state called AP and about a language called Telugu.

See even I like chandrababu, but i am assuming as in all politics, whatever is happenin rite now in Hyderabad i think is not happening b'coz of Congress[inspite of a saying in hyderabad and all india about them,'Khatey bhi hai, khilatey bhi hai']All these terrorist activities and all are happening because of some opposition parties 'Future Plans' so they can get votes in the upcoming elections, saying because of the Congress rule during that time such and such things happened. They mastermind all these heinous acts[like they care who is hindu and who is muslim, tney dont give a dam, they just want votes, rule and in as all politicians do in their rule.loot the publics money.Yeah some thing congress has not done are true...development.

Wel Rakesh it seems your are just seeing Hyderabad. If anybody dumps all money on one city, any city can look good. Go and see the villages, towns now.Lot of development is there with the kind of projects Reddy is doing.
See the roads in hyderabad now, it is full of holes and mud. These roads are developed by Naidu. Since 3 years there is no major road developmet activits in the city. Imagine the quality of development.
When you are analysing any thing see the broader context. All that glitters is not gold.

Manikandan,
It takes time to develop the entire state. Atleast Naidu started from somewhere. Where are we going with this Tughlak Reddy in place. All he does is renaming everything after Rajiv's name. Tomorrow if I have to goto my house in Hyderabad from somewhere, I need to buy a ticket to India and then to a city called Rajeevabad in state of Rajiv Pradesh and then take Rajiv Rahadari and take Sonia flyover to cross Tughlak Cross Roads and then reach my home. And just to renaming the uppal cricket stadium to Rajiv stadium, he paid a huge amount to Visaka Industries. He has got no strategy and where do you see development in the rural areas, can you site a few projects? ISI agents have become more prevalent and the city had become their adda. Govt. contracts everything to greedy contractors and none of the flyovers that he started were finished in time and dragged to eternity and you never know if u can safely return home in Hyderabad. He couldnt keep up the development pace that Naidu instated. Bas terd Tughlak Reddy

Can you tell us what YSR developed in the state...any city, any town or any village (except his village). For the past 3 years he and his men just grabbing lands all over the state. He uses farmers name and he earns the money. No body cheated like him farmers and villagers. You first open your eyes to look the reality. How long you guys bluff!!
